I’ve stayed in a few vrbos, but this one is by far my favorite. All the charm of the Old West with all the convenience of modern amenities. Wonderful location walkable to many restaurants, grocery store, drug store, and gift shops. This location is also only a short drive to many Black Hills attractions, including notably Custer State Park. I love this place and hope to stay here during all my annual trips to the Black Hiils!
The property was just as advertised. The location was awesome for being able to just walk out and explore downtown Custer. The layout was probably more suited for a a group of buddies than a family with kids but it worked for us. It was not quite set up for cozy nights in with the fam, but everything was as advertised. The beds were clean and comfortable. The history of the building was a vibe.
This was a great place to stay right in the middle of town every thing was new and clean, you can easy walk to anywhere in town with many good options for food or drinks Nextdoor or just blocks away. For being in the middle of town at night it’s actually quite quiet not much traffic or people after 8:30pm. It’s a very cool unique location with a lot of space. I would recommend it to anyone interested in visiting the area.
My family spent 4th of July week at this location. Fun place to stay and perfect location for the 4th of July activities. We were able to watch the parade and fireworks from the bedroom window. Private parking and nice deck and outdoor space. My kids loved the pool table. Owner was friendly, helpful and responded quickly to the few questions we had.
We stayed here for a fun night out with our adult kids. The location is great and the property is really a fun concept. The downstairs is open with a pool table and the upstairs has the bedrooms. The space could use more mirrors in the bedrooms for getting ready since there is only 1 bathroom upstairs. The downstairs could use a little light above the table as it is a dark area. All in all it is a fun space to stay!
Our family made a trip to the Black Hills at the tail end of Sturgis week. This property being right on Main Street Custer really allowed you to see and hear the motorcycles while allowing you to be within walking distance of several ice cream shops, restaurants, and souvenir shops. The overall location of Custer allowed us to visit many of the area attraction by being an hour or less away. The historical building and Main Street location may be a drawback for some but wasn’t for us. Plenty of space, being close to many things, and overall cleanliness and communication were appreciated by our family.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at this property. The historic building had been renovated and still retained its character. The main level was spacious and great for my grandkids to unwind after a busy day. The rooms were large and the beds/pillows were amazing! Especially enjoyed the front bedroom windows looking out over Main Street. We enjoyed a quiet evening on the back deck and the mini kitchen with popcorn on the 2nd floor was a nice touch.
It was great fun being downtown right in the heart of things. We were able to walk to several restaurants in minutes and enjoyed the local shops.
Host was very responsive and provided a great experience. For a unique experience I would definitely recommend this “brothel.”
It was an awesome property, The host was the best, even left us frosted mugs. The only thing that would make it better is more seating in the living room. We were left everything we could possibly need. Being downtown worked perfect for us.
We absolutely loved the Custer Rendezvous. Prior to our arrival, there was excellent communication with the Host and check in was extremely easy. Everything was exactly as advertised. While there were just 2 of us, it could have easily accommodated up to 10 people, as advertised. The kitchen facilities were great; and we used the BBQ several nights and cooked breakfast in as well. We loved the location which had easy access to all of the major sites in the Black Hills area. A plus was that it had good A/C since the daytime temperatures got very high for several days of our stay. Many other places in the area did not have A/C. We would definitely come back, and we would recommend it for couples or larger groups.
It was great to stay in a historic building in the center of such a great little town. We had passed by the building for decades and never really thought about it. The place easily comfortably accommodated our family of seven adults. There are two, downstairs small bathrooms (no tub or shower) that were not mentioned in the listing that were very handy. The pool table was a lot of fun and wish we could have used it more. The upstairs sleeping rooms were well finished and very comfortable. It was great to have a washer and dryer in the space as well. We got to meet the owners during our stay and look forward to all the positive changes and improvements that they have on their to-do list.
Im not one to just leave 5 stars , But this place earned it !! .Loved this place and the history Went for Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Had an amazing time We mainly went for the riding and theres plenty close to Custer. About an hour and a half ride from sturgis or deadwood but worked out perfect though . The Cafe next door is a must try(great breakfast) and if you want to get a drink theres a great little bar across the street.Everyone we met was great ( If your going for Sturgis just keep in mind these people are over worked and over whelmed, and might take a little longer at times . They handle it great and just down right good people )Only thing i would suggest is putting the address at the back gate just so people are 100% sure they're in the right spot . Great parking we had a van with small trailer and 4 bikes and there was still plenty of room .
