The house is in a perfect location in the cute town of Custer. And it was a great launching pad for all sorts of activities in the Black Hills. All you could ask for and more. Very well organized and clean. We came to South Dakota for the 84th Sturgis bike rally. The home decor was awesome. Ammenities were as described. Perfect spot in Custer, and was just 15-20 min away from most places we visited, CSP, Wind Cave, Crazy Horse, Mt. Rushmore, etc. We did take a day and travel to Devils Tower which was around 2 hours away, stopped at Spearfish canyon and Deadwood on way back. It was close enough in town to walk to the little shops, and just a 2 minute drive to the laundry mat. Kitchen had all the necessary items we needed. We didn't cook so cannot comment on the kitchen facilities, it would be a good addition to have a kettle so we could enjoy our cafetiere of coffee in the morning without having to boil water in a pan. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. The living room is not very welcoming and we could only get 1 channel on the TV. We found the silverware was dirty & needed washing.
