"Our family had an amazing stay at this Carova beach house! The location was incredible—we saw so many wild horses throughout our trip, and one even wandered underneath the house, which was such a memorable experience.The porch quickly became our favorite spot for morning coffee and relaxing with family in the evenings. The beach was just a short walk away, making it easy to enjoy peaceful sunrise and sunset walks. We found some amazing shells during our evening strolls!The house itself was spacious, spotless, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay—even drinking water! It truly felt like a home away from home.We would absolutely stay here again if we find ourselves back in the Outer Banks. Highly recommend!"

"The property was just as described and better! It was extremely clean and maintained. The amenities were great. We used the pier to fish and crab every day with our 2 young boys. We also used the kayaks to explore the canals and marshes nearby. It was great to have grill to make dinner every night. There were several times during our stay that I had a question for our host, and they replied immediately. We had a drink spill during our stay that caused some minor damage, I alerted our host who was very understanding and a pleasure to deal with. If you are looking for a place to stay in the area I highly recommend this property and we plan to return next year."

"This VRBO stay is a must! The house is amazing. It was clean and offered all the comforts of home - the hosts did not miss a detail. The house is exactly as described in the listing, if not better. Excellent communication with hosts as well. We also appreciated the extra details that made our 4-legged family member feel just as welcome.This was our first time experiencing the 4x4 beach with wild horses, and it did not disappoint. You will see the horse roaming freely throughout the area and on the beach. We watched 4 to 5 horses graze peacefully almost every morning from the back deck. We really enjoyed driving out to the beach and setting up for the day. With the house within walking distance, we could walk back and forth as needed. It rained on two afternoons, but with the amazing, expansive deck and screened porches, we were able to enjoy the outside and feel the cool ocean breeze. AMAZING. We ventured into town on one of the days, which offers cute shops and good restaurants. History buffs will love the museums Corolla has to offer. We even climbed to the top of the lighthouse, which offered breathtaking views of the entire area. As the hosts state, you must have a 4-wheel drive vehicle to navigate the sand. This was not a problem for us, but we did see several vehicles being towed out of the sand. The road literally ends, dumping you right onto the beach. It was so much fun. We'd definitely book this house again!"

"Wonderful home. We loved everything about it. My family enjoyed the proximity of the house to the beach, and the access to the sound via the canal. The house has so much space and is perfect for families. We loved the outdoor shower and the ice machine. The ice machine was a big plus for us. We will be back!"

"July 2-5, 2026 - It was an amazing stay and we truly loved the home and its location!! The cozy peaceful atmosphere was the perfect place to relax! The bottom floor deck was our favorite part. We are porch sitters and it was the perfect place for all of us to gather. We have a few members of our family that are highly sensitive to mosquitoes and bug bites in general, and that was a major worry. However, we were very pleasantly surprised to find out there were only a few to deal with. The owner and his property manager were extremely helpful and welcoming! After we checked out, my daughter realized she forgot her pillow and the property went out of his way to accommodate us in order to retrieve it. I HIGHLY recommend this owner, the property manager, and the home! We hope to return next summer!"

"House was as pictured. Easy to find if you follow I instructions. Wish there was more to clean the pool out during the week but I understand not wanting people who are Not experienced doing that. Had a great week and saw lots of horses. They were right up to the house couple times. Great experience."
