Be aware that very little is open on a Monday, and we struggled to find somewhere for dinner. The hotel itself feels like two very different halves – one considerably better than the other. We had to request a room change due to a particularly unpleasant smell in our original room. The hotel was also uncomfortably hot, and no complimentary water was provided in the rooms. Overall, a disappointing experience that could have been much better.

Hotel is modern and well looked after, the staff were all very friendly and pleasant. However, I was not warned on arrival that a band would be paying in the bar directly under my room...this really wasn't ideal as I had an early start to catch the ferry. no issue with the hotel but maybe ask whats happening in the bar and where your room is if you also need an early night!
