Deep Creek Lake and Wisp just minutes away, includes pass to CARC (pool/gym)

We were excited to purchase this ranch-style home on a quiet country road. Kris's father built this home in 1966, so we were thrilled to bring it back it into the family. We gutted the home in 2017 and have completely remodeled it and furnished it with new furniture, new beds, new linens and new supplies in order to provide you with a comfortable, relaxing haven to recharge during your vacation time in Garrett County.

Our goal is provide a place to bring your family to enjoy each other and create memories that will last a lifetime. You will find a swing set, foosball game, badminton/volleyball set, spike ball, t-ball, bocce ball, ladder golf, table games, etc to enjoy together. Bikes are available for use as well. Bring your own helmets. We are also minutes from the ski slopes, state parks, Deep Creek Lake, Swallow Falls, etc. Foxtown Road is great for biking, running, etc.

Rental includes a free pass to the CARC less than 10 minutes away with a heated pool, gym and fitness center. Please bring towels if you would like to use the pass.

Accommodations include two king beds, a queen, bunk bed (single over queen), day bed with trundle, roll-away bed and a couch with a pull-out bed. There is a flat screen TV in the living room, family room and two bedrooms. Bring passwords to log into your favorite channels.

Corby does custom woodworking and created a number of pieces which grace the home including a 11-foot farm table in the large open dining room.

A beautiful stone fireplace, part of the original house and built by Kris's father, is the center piece of the living room.

The kitchen is fully furnished with cooking and eating utensils, toaster, crockpot, blender, mixer, griddle for pancakes, sugar, salt, some basic spices, etc. A coffee maker and grinder is furnished as well with an option for Keurig style coffee. A gas grill is available

Linens are included in the rental fee. Paper towels and toilet paper are furnished.

High-end hotel experience for a family getaway

This house and property was spectacular! I stayed here with my husband, our two small children, my mom and my brother for Fourth of July weekend. The lot is picturesque and so peaceful. The house inside is even better - this was hands down the cleanest, nicest, most comfortable VRBO I have ever stayed in. I felt like I stayed in a five star hotel. Beautiful home and perfect for making memories with my family. This house also has a ton of kid-friendly features (amazing playground out back and kids toys inside) that my daughter loved. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Private Lake Vacation

Beautiful updated and clean property. It was secluded and private, but still close to the lake and amenities. Check in and out was super easy, and the host was quick to communicate with.

Beautiful house and property

The house was fantastic - it had every amenity we needed and felt like home. The yard is fabulous, too - it was almost fairy tale like with the gazebo, fire pit, and ferns. We had a great time and would book again. Thank you!

It's amazing place.

Wonderful as usual! Our favorite spot!

This was our third visit, and the place continues to be the absolute best! It’s immaculately clean, cozy and the decor is gorgeous. My kids love the front swing and toy room. The owners are also very responsive. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful House

This house was great. It had games and bikes for the kids to go on rides with and tucked far enough away from the busy streets to be safe. The bedrooms were nice and the big backyard with firepit was a big hit with us.

Great stay!

We spent Thanksgiving here this year. This was our 2nd time staying here in the last 2 years. What a great home w/ amazing owners. Good communication throughout our stay. We had so much fun! There’s so much to do here. Access to the gym/pool was a huge plus with young kids! Thank you again! :)

Wonderful stay

Loved our stay! The house was beautifully decorated and the outdoor space was great for spending quality time with the family around the fire pit or for some yard games. The host was very responsive and met with us at check in to just go over stuff to make our stay as comfortable as can be. Brought us some delicious cinnamon rolls for us to enjoy welcome us as well.The location was great. Will definitely be back again!

Labor Day Getaway.

This property is perfect for those who like quiet and privacy. Plenty of room for a large family. The kitchen was nicely stocked and the cinnamon rolls were so good. Very close to the lake and other activities. We loved the fire pit area and enjoyed a fire every night of our stay. Beautifully decorated.

Beautiful peaceful country get away

My in-laws and friends with a 2 year old stayed at this beautiful rental for one week and felt right at home. The check in process was incredible and the owner even gave them a complimentary pastry! Clean, comfortable, and spacious. The firepit out back with firewood and huge gazebo were an extra bonus! Thank you so much for making my friends and family feel right at home for my wedding weekend!

Perfect as always

There are no other words to describe this stay other then perfect. We have been staying here for years now and we look forward to staying here every year. The owners hospitality is outstanding and there property is so cozy. We get here,binge watch tv ,start the fire, have a glass of wine and veg out for days. Do a little skiing witch is extremely close. But again we come here to get snowed in and regroup. Great family time and just fun overall. Thanks again for everything guys.

Amazing stay with fully stocked house

My family absolutely loved this house! It has everything you could need and more. There are amazing outdoor and indoor games and toys for the whole family. The kids loved the swing set ! The location is convenient to all activities in deep creek but provides a more private setting that is very peaceful !

Beautiful Home

Wow! Such a beautiful home, with the most unique farmhouse decor. The beds and couches were super comfy. Firewood, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, spices, nice pots and pans, literally everything you could possibly need. Beautiful backyard, garage full of fun things to do! Such an amazing find! Once again we absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay. The house is always very clean and beautifully decorated. There are two living rooms and lots of dining room space where we did puzzles and crafts. Highly recommend.

Quiet getaway

A very quiet and cozy home. Well stocked with plenty of towels, choice of pillows (short or tall), quality toilet paper and paper towels. The kitchen had every utensil or appliance we needed and much more. Great for families with younger kids. Our children loved the backyard playground.

Amazing Family Friendly Getaway

We had a wonderful stay! Kris welcomed us upon our arrival to provide insight on the property and was a pleasure to work with. The home is exceptionally clean, well stocked with all the amenities and a variety of indoor and outdoor activities that the kids loved! If you’re looking for a family friendly rental, this is the place! No stairs to worry about, ample yard space away from the road, a swing set, a variety of bed options to fit your needs, and overall a quiet area that is easily accessible to all of the activities Deep Creek offers. If we make the trip again, we will certainly rebook!
