The layout of the house was very nice for multiple families. The attic space with twin beds was a great amenity, but could not be utilized. Even with air set to 70 (we were instructed to not go below that), the attic space couldn’t get cool enough to sleep in. A simple remote controlled wall unit would be great to help that. There is no available storage in the house, all closets and some cabinets are locked. They did provide clothing racks, but those really seemed to just take up space. We would have loved a broom to be able to sweep the porch and deck off. The deck furniture could also use a wipe down. One of the doors upstairs would not close all the way and we were unable to use tv. The property manager was very easy to contact and offered a solution to us not being able to locate the paddle for canoe and the tv but by the last night we weren’t concerned about it. Overall I would recommend this property on Smith Lake, but some improvements could definitely be made. ##### Anna M.
