The location was fantastic — close to the shops, and right on the lake, which made for beautiful views. The owners also left some chocolates for us on arrival, which was a really thoughtful touch.When we first arrived, there was a little bit of confusion as the cleaners were still finishing up and weren’t quite sure if we were booked in, but that was quickly sorted. While the house itself was comfortable and spacious, the cleanliness unfortunately wasn’t quite up to the standard we were expecting — the sheets in our bed didn’t seem fresh, and the back room carpet appeared to have fleas, likely due to the property being pet-friendly. The lounges also had a strong dog smell.Being on the lake, there were a lot of mozzies outside (as you’d expect in that environment), and during our stay we were disappointed to find out there was a sewerage issue, meaning we couldn’t actually access the lake.All in all though, the house had a lot of potential, and with a little extra attention to detail on cleaning, it would be a really great place to stay. ##### Andrea C.
