"Hotel is located in the historic center of a city in a completely restored historic building, and it has all the amenities you can ask for. You can walk everywhere, and surrounded by restaurants and shops. They have parking if you travel by car. You would need to stop in front of hotel, and they will explain you about parking ( it’s free). Breakfast is good with lots of options. "

"Convenient to historic area (4 minute walk). Very helpful front desk, directed us to a track where our kids could run (track practice on vacation) and made several excellent dining recommendations. Pool is very nice and peaceful not like the typical indoor over chlorinated pools, more like a spas (outdoor pool was not open for the season yet). And an excellent included full breakfast buffet . "

"I'd recommend staying here. The location is great and you can do laundry here (they also provide the detergent)! The rooms were nice and there's a big shared kitchen which was really clean. It's very central so you might want earplugs. The bathroom was a bit weird since there was only frosted glass separating it from the rest of the room and not a proper wall. The check in is also a little weird since you have to go into a store so it was a bit confusing. "

"Hotel Solar de Monfalim was beautiful, quaint, quiet, clean, within walking distance of the major sites and their customer service was exceptional. During my stay there, I ran into a very serious personal emergency. Both Ines and the owner were so gracious to help me resolve the problem as quickly as possible, providing the assistance I needed amidst my panic. Additionally, Hotel Solar de Monfalim graciously provided me with an upgraded room because of some issues that I was having with my room. I would definitely recommend them and I hope to return the next time that I am in Évora. "
