Beautiful location - away from the hustle and bustle but yet close to the Geneva Airport. The staff was amazing and the restaurant was one of our favorites from our entire 9 day trip. The room was small but comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
A chalet at the centre of Chamonix that offers the best confort and amenities. Our host was exceptional. He advise about best activities in Chamonix. The outside terrace is a little oasis of peace and wonders.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The family who runs this place is lovely. They are very accommodating. When problems came up, they addressed them and apologized. Beds were comfortable, sheets were clean.
The pictures on the website were amazing. We booked online because of the pictures and the view.
When we came to the location, we were in the basement below the kitchen, no soundproof walls or ceiling (so you could hear all the restaurant prep and Clean up). No views, like advertised
The plaster ceilings were pealing extensively. And the overhead light flickers for 5 minutes after you turn it off.
When we arrived, we also found out our bathroom lights weren't working. They called maintenance in and took a couple hours to fix it. The hotel was full so they said they could not get us a different room.
The bill upon checkout did not match the hotels.com rate that we booked with and if took 30 minutes to get a manager to come and correct it.
We really wanted to like this place. It just didn't meet the advertised expectations unfortunately.
Very nice and clean hotel with a great view of Geneva. It's on the countryside so all the nearby (there are only a few) eateries close early in the evening. We reached at almost 10 and didn't want to drive to Geneva which is probably 25 kms away.
The restaurant was our favorite during our time in the area, and the views from our room were outstanding. Hotel Bois Joly will always be our first choice
Really disappointed.
No heads up that the restaurant and bar would be closed.....on a Friday evening!
Had to eat at another hotel.
we had planned to ride on friday, get freshened up and dine at the hotel.
Would not let us check in until 4pm.
When we booked our stay we were very excited and the reviews were generally pretty good. When checking in, there was no staff to help us. At night there was screaming, yelling, drinking, smoking and loitering outside our room (below our balcony) which kept us up pretty much all night both nights. When trying to contact front desk, there was no one around to help. Even with the balcony door closed, the shutters closed and the curtains drawn, we were kept up all night (until almost 4am) by other guests (not random people on the street) and their yelling and shouting. The property was nice but the service and noise levels, simply unacceptable. Very disappointed.
