Last night the fire alarm went off all night long, could not sleep, than again in the morning. at checkout even after I had pre paid all charges with Expedia, they charged my card again for resort fee when my reservation was clearly written that resort fee was included, still waiting for hotel response.

Extremely poor and unacceptable experience – cockroaches, mold, and unsanitary conditions I strongly recommend that other guests think twice before staying at this hotel. Our experience was completely unacceptable. During our stay, we discovered cockroaches in both rooms we had booked. We immediately reported the problem to the hotel, but nothing was done. We were told that something would be done about it, but there was no effective response or action during our stay. The bathrooms were extremely dirty and had a significant amount of mold. The mattresses were also in very poor and unhygienic condition, with visible mold and fungus. We have attached photographs documenting these conditions. We contacted the hotel’s main office and submitted a detailed complaint. We were eventually told that they would disinfect and treat the two rooms and that they appreciated us bringing the situation to their attention. However, this does not change the fact that we had to stay in these unacceptable conditions and that nothing was done while we were actually staying at the hotel. This is not a matter of a hotel simply needing renovation. These are serious hygiene and health concerns. It is extremely difficult and uncomfortable to sleep in a room where there are cockroaches, mold, and visibly dirty mattresses. I am posting this review to warn other travelers. Please look carefully at the photos attached before deciding to stay here. No guest should have to sleep in conditions like thes

My family of 4 stayed a week at the Goldwyn. We picked this resort because of the ocean front availability with numerous rooms/beds to accommodate our family of 4 with 2 adult children. The property was beautiful, from the electric black out shades to the full kitchen opportunity’s. If you do choose this property, I would recommend not staying near the restaurant/bar as we were woken up daily with moving chairs. There was also one evening that there was a party and the music played very loud until 3am. Also note that if you eat, order room service, order drinks or food down at the pool/beach, gratuity is always included in the bill. Lastly, know that you will pay quite a bit for Taxi’s if you choose to not rent a car as we did. Otherwise, beautiful property and beach.
