The cottage was easy to find and easy to enter. We walked into the main living space and said, "This is lovely!" and with the bedrooms distributed on two floors it allowed for privacy. The kitchen was well-equipped and the cottage was very clean. There is a Morrisons and Lidl nearby, a 5 minute drive away, and we could walk into town (taking into account that the walk back was all uphill). We didn't find a lot of touristy shops in town, and the beach was of the rocky sort which we loved. We did day trips out to the surrounding areas and everything was approximately 30 minutes away. It was a lovely long weekend! We have stayed at The Dairy at least five times. It is compact but has all that you need for a holiday. Hirers just need to be aware that it is on the main road but sheltered by the high wall at the back and the traffic is light during the late evening and night. It is a twenty / twenty five minute walk down to Cromer town centre but it is on three bus routes. We are thinking of going again next year.
