"The house being rented is the gaurds house next to the road. The yard is fully enclosed and gated. Our family 16 and 19 year olds really enjoyed this property. They got their own rooms with friends. They played pickel ball. We walked to the bakery. We saw fawns in the morning by the castle. The castle is needing renovations to the point that it is condemned. In addition there is a river and a mout on the property. So your children either need to be closely supervised or old enough to make good...

"A lovely "getaway from it all" location. Sweet little gite, a bit basic (not luxury) but had everything we needed and more, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Owner was very responsive. Village is very quiet and it's a few minutes drive to the nearest town for shops and restaurants. Not a very touristy area which we loved, but only about an hours drive to Rouen, Amiens, Monet's garden (all of which were busy)."

"Nous sommes ravis de ce séjour plein de charme. Nous nous sommes sentis privilégiés d'avoir accès au parc du château, à sa charmante rivière poissonneuse et au terrain de padel. Nous avons apprécié les petites attentions de nos hôtes : jeux, explications sur l'histoire du château et le projet de restauration. La maison nouvellement rénovée est très bien équipée. Nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit mais aurions volontiers prolongé le séjour."

"This is a great hotel. The location is great, with many restaurants within a 3 minute walk. The staff were excellent and very helpful, some, Spoke excellent English ( the only French I know, was what I learned in junior school), so it helped a great deal. I recommend The Kyriad as an excellent hotel to stay and give it 5 stars in almost evert aspects."

"The hotel itself is well maintained and very clean, and the location is excellent. The staff was also consistently friendly and helpful. However, there were a few things that fell short of what I would expect from a five-star hotel. On our first day, we asked for an extra luggage rack, but it was never delivered, so we had to ask again the following day. We also told the receptionist that the refrigerator in our room was not working. No one ever came to check it, so we were unable to use it during our stay. On another day, while we were sleeping late, the housekeeper attempted to enter the room. The door was latched, so he could not come in, but rather than leaving us alone after realizing that we were inside, he continued trying to open the door. We eventually got up and told him that we were still sleeping and asked him to come back later, at which point he pressed us to give him a specific time to return. These are relatively small things, but they are not what one would expect from a five-star hotel. That said, the staff was always friendly, and overall the hotel is attractive, clean, and very well located."

"Room a good size and clean, well set up at checkin. Car parking is available at the hotel, although it is a restricted space and larger cars are a tight fit. It’s also quite complicated to reach the hotel the first time. Great breakfast with wide choice for the family. Fantastic location with easy access to historic Rouen and shops."

"The hotel staff is amazing. From the moment we entered the property until we left they were very helpful and exceptionally pleasant. We were provided amazing directions on all the must see sites along with additional tips. The room was clean and comfortable. The amenities were bare with only a combination soft soap/ shampoo, no conditioner or lotion. Parking is tight but very secure. The location is superb. We enjoyed our stay."

"A very convenient stop over , located close to the motorway. Basic but very clean rooms , comfortable beds . The hotel is a bit outdated but nonetheless well looked after . Great breakfast for the price . Restaurant is close on the weekends but nice options nearby . Very kind and helpful staff , made the kids feel very special at breakfast !"
