"The property was beautiful and extremely large. Perfect for our large family. It was secluded yet close to most adventures and shopping. Although we lost power and had a water issue, management was very quick to fix the problem. Super cool place to stay....Wish the house was forsale!"

"Wonderful lodge! Liked it so much we rearranged our itinerary to come back for another night. Super quiet & scenic. Really enjoyed the pool, deck, restaurant, and seeing birds, monkeys and iguanas. Arrived too late for pizza the first night, but stayed to have it for lunch and it truly was delicious. However, learned later that Costa Rica’s ban on feeding wildlife extends to private property and bird feeders, so it would better not to feed the birds at all, or at least farther from the deck so macaws don’t swoop in for human breakfast food. "

"Thomas was a great host. The unit is in a nice gated community. We were only using it on this trip as a stop to get us closer to the airport. We may use this unit for a longer stop on another trip."

There are plenty of birds to watch, the Scarlet Macaws are beautiful…..and noisy! The pool was also a highlight and was not cold. The house has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The road up is pretty bumpy but well worth it once you get there! We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return here if we ever come back to Costa Rica."
