The hotel was very convenient to the town and the room was very spacious.
The bed and the pillows were very firm ,not so suitable for a side sleeper.
Cleaners don't automatically come every day, you need to scan a QR code to book the cleaners.
There was a small fridge in the room which was very convenient.
The TV only had terrestrial channels.
Staff in the restaurant at breakfast were not friendly at all sadly.
Overall, the hotel had a lot of benefits and i would stay again

A tastefully developed pub with ample rooms, stylish appearance and appealing atmosphere. Dinner was a little disappointing (had the buttermilk chicken burger) which felt as if it had been pre-prepared/defrosted and reheated. May have just been an unlucky experience as generally the food reviews are very good and the breakfast was truly excellent and very fresh. Husband's burger was good. Staff very pleasant. We had a waterside suite which looked over the cricket pitch at the back so was quiet. Used it as a base to start the Thames Path walk at its source near Kemble.
