"House on the Lake was truly a home away from home! From the moment we walked in, we could feel the love and care poured into this beautiful home. It was warm, peaceful, spotless, and the perfect place for our family while visiting our daughter at Cal Poly. The hosts went above and beyond even leaving a thoughtful fishing gift for our son , who was SO excited and actually caught a little bass! 🎣❤️ Those personal touches meant so much to us. Quality Suites Downtown San Luis Obispo

Quality Suites Downtown San Luis Obispo

10/10 Excellent
"I love this hotel! It’s super conveniently located to hwy 101 and walking into downtown. I’ve stayed here while in town several times. I’m now staying more often as I’m displaced and trying to find a home. It’s dog friendly. I have a service animal, but am allergic to most pet friendly rooms as my service animal is hypoallergenic on purpose. I don’t get sick in these rooms like other hotels that stick me in pet friendly rooms. The amenities are better than any other hotel I’ve stayed at, from the custom breakfast, great coffee, laundry room, complimentary happy hour every night, option for BBQ menu for a smaller fee than door dash. I don’t use the pool but many seem to like it. If it was saltwater that would be my jam. The best thing they could do is rip out the carpet in all the rooms though. I thought they were all wood laminate but some still have carpet I think needs to go. Two elevators, 3 floors. They can just get the rooms cleaner with no carpet. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. I’ll always choose Quality when in SLO county."
