However, please note that the latch to get to the deck gets stuck so you have to apply a ton of force to get it opened. The door downstairs that leads to the porch also didn’t open which was a bit inconvenient when taking my dog out to potty. There were a ton of old stains on the carpet throughout the house. And the listing says “hot tub”. There is no hot tub. They meant that there’s a bathtub in the restroom. That was a bit of a bummer. Overall- location was great! House was cute. We had a great stay at the cabin for three nights with our family that included four children. Everything is very close by from fun on the lake to restaurants and the sky park not too far. The weekend we were there there was a power outage in most of the mountain town cities due to the fires, and we found a cabinet full of candles and flashlight that we were able to light up the living room and play board games into the late hours of the night. I’m thankful that she had the cabin very prepared for whatever may happen. Just for families traveling with Kids. The kitchen is well equiped. I did have to knock down low hanging cobwebs in the half bath. The carpet had just been shampoed and was still wet when we arrived.
