Reviewer Comments: We love this beautiful location on the water front and that fact that it’s on the ground floor makes it that much easier. We took a hammock and enjoyed the sun and fishing at our front door while the baby slept inside 20m away . The size of the apartment was great for our family with 2 kids sharing and having the large laundry/bathroom meant we could keep the kids surfboard, fishing rods, esky and other bulky things out of the way. Plenty of parking and room for our trailer. It was warmer than expected on cold winter nights and they provide heaters. The only downfalls for me were the leaky fridge that left a puddle in the kitchen and the shower was dirty. You could tell it hadn’t been cleaned before our stay because of the mould that appeared after a couple of days. Otherwise the place was clean and tidy. The price of unit 1 has increased year after year, with a 30% increase between last year and this year yet its condition has deteriorated to the point of being unhygienic and uncomfortable. The bathroom/laundry is full of mould, the mattresses are so old it feels as if you are sleeping on bare springs. The carpet once a light beige is so heavily stained it is grey and falling apart in many places. There wasn’t even a vacuum provided to maintain cleanliness. The TV is tiny and the reception is so poor we were unable to get most channels. We love the location however unfortunately will no longer return despite the fact our extended family will continue to holiday at beachfront in the other beautifully updated units. The kitchen utensils provided were sparse, crockery, glassware and cutlery were dirty and had to be washed before we used them. The furniture and beds had seen better days and the appliances basic at best.
