"Gîte spacieux, propre, calme et très bien équipé. A proximité de la mer et des supermarchés. Le terrain est très appréciable, d'autant plus lorsqu'on a des enfants ou des animaux. Une seconde salle de bain serait effectivement la bienvenue pour éviter les embouteillages :) Les 2 WC séparés sont bien pratiques. Hôte accueillant aussi bien à l'arrivée qu'au départ. Nous avons bien terminé l'année 2023 et bien commencé 2024 dans ce gîte."

"Lovely area and farmhouse. It was spacious and well equipped. We had a brilliant holiday. Suggestions, electrical appliances need English instructions and we did not use washing machine as it was very small. Overall fantastic holiday."

"First of all Damien & his wife were very welcoming & friendly and throughout all communications were clear and responded to quickly. "We had a wonderful overnight stay and were happy to have an enclosed garden for our dogs. 10/10 for everything."

"Petite maison decorée avec goût, très bien agencée. Il ne manque rien pour y passer un très bon séjour. Le jardin est propice au repos (à noter qu'il n'y a pas d'accés direct au jardin, il faut contourner la maison par la cour pour y accéder). Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit. "Very good stay in St Valery. The cottage was well situated, just a short walk along the river to everything. The peace was only broken by the train at the end of the garden and a seal having his breakfast outside one morning! The stairs are steep and a touch slippy - my teenage daughter fell once, but this had been flagged up by other reviewers, and no one else had a problem. Something to be aware of, if you have mobility issues. It is a charming house - clearly a lot of thought has gone into...

All the locals are very friendly and the local food store has a very helpful manager given that I had to go out the first night and buy some basics.
