visited during covid so was perfect, as a the cottage is a little isolated in small village, would have missed a village shop and pub we could walk to in normal situation. However these amenities were only a short car ride away. Lovely walks were on the doorstep of the cottage and lots of amazing countryside and places to visit all within a hour in the car, so a fantastic location. We were a large party of ten with five children who loved being able to spread out in the spacious accommodation. The kitchen was very well equipped. the cottage was clean and I would happily recommend this cottage to other visitors.

This was a very good setting for a reunion of friends.
This was a very good setting for a reunion of friends. It had plenty of space with its two lounges and well-equipped kitchen (although a cafetiere or two would have been appreciated). There are storage heaters with log fires in the lounges.
The décor etc was not as modern or matching as some of the group would have liked but others were fine with it. Although the kitchen and bathrooms were very clean, the nature of the rest of the accommodation meant that it did not have the same sense of cleanliness.
There was plenty to do in the area and we benefited from great weather for February.
