Enclosed, lawned garden with sitting-out area, patio, garden furniture and small barbecue. On-road parking. No smoking.. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this delightful, well equipped cottage stands in the centre of the charming village of Clun, just a short stroll from two pubs serving home cooked food, the outstanding Maltings cafe and shops offering local produce. With a range of character features throughout, a large inglenook fireplace with wood burner in the sitting room, a conservatory opening onto a private patio and garden at the rear of the property, which can also be accessed via the neighbouring garden. Excellent circular walks are close by, such as the Stiperstones, Clee Hills and Wenlock Edge, there are also walks direct from the door around the village itself with walks down to the river Clun. Well worth a visit in the area are the National trust properties of Croft Castle, Powis Castle and Berrington Hall and within easy reach there are the popular towns of Ludlow, Shrewsbury and Ironbridge all of which host an array of shops, restaurants and bars. The property is set on a quiet street with parking. Please note, the front door opens directly onto the pavement.

Ideal for the two of us.

Ideal for the two of us. Parking could be a problem but wasn’t for us as there was always a space just along the road. We didn’t use the garden as the weather wasn’t ever suitable but it would be a lovely haven in the sunshine.
