"Logement jonché au dessus des champs de vigne , avec une vue reposante, appartement propre et sécurisant quand on vient avec des enfants, c’est un plus. Localité proche de nombreuses visites à faire absolument ( abbaye royale de Fontevraud, le cadre noir, le château de saumur, Brézé… La gestionnaire sur place était très réactive et toujours bienveillante. "Small but perfectly formed. Only lack of its own outside space, access to a terrace so we could eat outside, was our only frustration. Marc on behalf of his mum was excellent. Because of its aspect the house was very hot in the over 30C weather. We appreciated the ready access to buses and of course the Riverside"

"A real wow location, in a characterful old water mill. A wonderful piece of France, with plenty too see, eat and drink within an easy drive along pot-hole free roads. The Domaine de Cande was especially interesting, the location of the Traitor King's (Edward VIII) marriage to Mrs Simpson by a corrupt clergyman in 1937."

"A lovely converted farm building in a very quiet area. Good range of facilities available and a fantastic pool. We had a lovely time in the surrounding area and good fun on the petanqe piste. Definitely a good choice."

"We had an excellent stay at Ballan-Miré. The house is really nice and well furnished, including towels and tea towels, BBQ, outside seating etc. The beds were done on arrival which is really appreciated. The house was clean and a good size, with two large bathrooms. The garden is big and really nice and sunny. WiFi is working well. There is a large supermarket 5 min drive away. No shops at walking distance. The hosts are welcoming, helpful and discreet. Overall a very positive experience! "

"My family and I enjoyed this house and it was great to be able to appreciate the old architectural charm of the building. The outdoor space was perfect for us and was a big plus. The house isn’t right in the city center but we were able to walk or ride bikes into town very conveniently. The only real negative was the checkin and checkout process as the place where we had to pick up and drop off the key was not close by especially if you were in a rush or didn’t have a car. There was also no air...

"Les maisons sont propers et pratiques . On a une terrasse et, important, une piscine. La situation Est ideale pour les visites des châteaux comme ALR, Villandry, Langeais, Saché.. et Chinon."

"Le gîte est chouette (cuisine bien équipée et lave-linge/étendage dispos) et le jardin vraiment au calme, on peut bien en profiter pour entendre les oiseaux. Ligré est juste à côté de Chinon (le château est une très bonne visite en soi) et ça a été un bon point de chute pour notre semaine, on a pu visiter beaucoup de sites avec 15-40 minutes de voiture max (abbaye de Fontevraud, Saumur, Azay le Rideau, Monts sur Guesnes, Richelieu...). Les propriétaires sont très accueillants (eau, vin et fleurs...

"More than most properties - Gille’s sprawling 16th, 17th and other centuries place will mould to your wishes. No heated pool for us and the games room remained quiet. But a wonderful maze with parking for only the Le Mans champs ( like myself). Everything is close and walkable."

"Myself and my family have just returned from our ten day summer holiday at Barbara’s wonderful quaint property. Barbara was more than accommodating from the moment we arrived to the second we departed, a truly fantastic host! The large garden and pool had our 4 year old in his element the entire holiday enabling Mum and Dad plenty of relaxing time to reset. Thank you Barbara again!
