Top Cranbrook Community Forest Hotel Reviews

The Larix Hotel

8/10 Good

"It was very unique, great ambiance, food, drinks and overall happy with the room. The bathroom had a musty smell and the shampoo/conditioner rack had layers of mould inside. I couldn't give it 5 stars but a little attention to detail in cleaning would change my rating for next time."

Sandman Hotel Cranbrook

8/10 Good

"Hotel was nice, a little bit ran down. Some of the wallpaper was coming off the walls. My room only had one nightstand. Everything was clean. There weren’t any little toiletries. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t the best but it did the job. There’s no breakfast because there’s a Denny’s connected to the hotel, but it is open 24 hours."

Alpine Retreat: 2BR Ski-In/Ski-Out Condo with Private Hot Tub

10/10 Excellent

"Perfect place to stay for our family! Clean, spacious, well stocked supplies, comfortable beds, and a nice view from the hot tub. The hosts communicated very well and has excellent information in the unit. Was able to cook a nice Thanksgiving dinner!"

Upscale 4BR mountain retreat with private hot tub, AC, and Mountain Club access.

8/10 Good

"The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and well appointed. The basement area is comfortable, and the hot tub was hot and well maintained. The kitchen had most of the implements and equipment we needed. The living room and kitchen are smaller than the photos suggest---it was squishy for our group of five adults and three teenagers. There was only seating for seven at the dinner table. The owners had many cupboards and doors locked, including the garage. Most of the available kitchen storage was difficult to reach (e.g., above the fridge), so we had to store many of our groceries on the dining room floor, which made the room even squishier. This house is not ski-in/ski-out. To get to the lifts, guests must walk 10 minutes, slightly uphill, crossing gravelly parking lots and roads. That said, the drive to the lifts is under two minutes."
