"Rooms were classically comfortable. Bathroom heated floor and smart toilet were a step up. The room had a kettle for hot water with tea bags and minfridge with milk & cream. There was no coffee machine but coffee urn outside room before 9am was fine for early starters. Coffee urn for room could be ordered by calling the desk. Access to second storey rooms and 3rd floor loft rooms were only accessible via stairs (no elevator). Lounge and dining room were upscale."

"I'm scared to write too glowing a review thinking it will make Callayna's suite even more popular and it'll be booked solid when we try to come back!! But she deserves this review. The property is just idyllic if you want quiet and being up close and surrounded by nature. It's as if her home and its additions were airlifted into the woods at the mouth of Colquitz River that empties into the Gorge. You can walk right down to the shore and see for yourself. Go at sunset for an enchanted view of the waterways! She has made several 'surprising' natural pathways through the woods over her two acre estate. Her green thumb and designer's eye are everywhere; with flower pots and blooming trellis' and bushes and interesting woodland curiosities and resting places. The suite is creatively decorated with art from noted painter Andrew Wooldridge as well as other pieces and complementary accessories she has selected for the decor. Plank flooring, warm yellow walls, area carpets, two leather love seats and a dining tale for four are beyond the galley kitchen that if fully outfitted. Overhead lighting and several lamps set any mood you're looking for. The bedroom is an open loft overlooking the main floor with dresser and large closet. It is air conditioned if you ever need it. The bath has a six foot deep soaker tub and commode with a large venting skylight above. Linens and essentials are top quality. Finally, spacious private parking is right beside the suite. La voila!"

There were so many thoughtful touches, including slippers, snacks, and the option of light quilts. The A/C was much appreciated. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive.
