Inside, you’ll find: Sleeping arrangements for 5: A plush king bed in the main bedroom, a full-size pull-out sofa bed in the living area, and a portable twin mattress conveniently stored in the closet for extra guests. A fully-equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals. A cozy and welcoming living area to unwind after a day of exploring. Outside features: Step out back to enjoy a tranquil and cozy fire pit area—perfect for evening stargazing or roasting marshmallows under the open sky. The expansive outdoor space offers a peaceful retreat with country views and room to relax. This unique retreat blends the charm of rural living with modern amenities. Our guests have full access to the entire converted living space, this includes Bedroom: A spacious king-sized bed with a closet containing a portable twin bed frame and mattress. Living Room: A cozy lounge area with a pull-out couch (sleeps two) Kitchen: A fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a coffee maker, and all the essentials for cooking. Bathroom: A modern bathroom that includes a washer and dryer, available for guest use during your stay. Outdoor Area: Step out through the bedroom door to access a private outdoor space, perfect for relaxing or gathering under the stars. Guests can enjoy a bonfire area and a BBQ grill, both available for your use to make your stay even more special. This space is a secondary unit, thoughtfully converted into a guest house within a larger shed structure on the property. Please note that next to the guest house is another home that is also occupied. The driveway and entrance are shared with the residents or other guests of that house. Both this unit and the neighboring house are private rentals, and we kindly ask all guests to respect each other’s space. The same house rules apply to everyone - please avoid excessive noise, do not disturb your neighbors, and maintain a courteous environment for all. We’ve designed the property to ensure privacy for both units, but occasional interactions in shared outdoor areas or driveways may happen. If you have any concerns during your stay, please don’t hesitate to reach out, and we’ll be happy to assist. Pet Policy: We love pets, but unfortunately, we cannot accommodate them at this time. \- Bonfire: While we do not provide firewood, there are convenient options nearby. This newer location is a short drive from Springfield and set back from the road with lots of quiet space. There are many stores within a 10–15-minute drive. The unit is large, beautifully decorated, cozy and spotless with ample seating, a larger modern kitchen, a good-sized bathroom (complete with a washer/dryer to use). The bedroom (and walk-in closet) is huge with a comfortable king bed, desk and extra roll bed in the closet. The owner was attentive and let us know they were there to help in any way needed. This property was immaculate. The unit looks to be brand new and absolutely spotless. I wish every place was this beatiful and clean. We loved sitting outside at the fire pit and watching a storm roll in. It was just so peaceful. The mattress was the best I've ever slept on. In fact, we're going to replace our own mattress with the same one. The host was very receptive and helpful and responded immediately to any questions. I just can't say enough about this place. We are actually trying to find an excuse to visit Springfield just so we can stay at this property again. This is how a VRBO should be managed. Clean, comfortable and affordable.
