The fully furnished log cabin will sleep 5 to 6 adults comfortably with one queen and three twin beds. Additional amenities include: full refrigerator, new stove, microwave, coffee pot, washer/dryer and small TV. There is a full bathroom downstairs with shower and bath tub. The cabin is on a working ranch surrounded by woods and pastures with food plots and wildlife ponds. It is a great place for 4-wheeling. We are very near 2 rivers which are great for kayaking. The cabin was built in 2009 with local timber. It has an open floor plan with a full bathroom. The kitchen has a new stove and full sized refrigerator. The furnishings, beds, and bedding are all new. The cabin has a private drive, parking space, and a nice outdoor fire pit. It sits on a hillside surrounded by forest land. Also the cabin is a great place for a romantic getaway or a break from the fast pace of the city. The cabin, lawn, and fire pit are yours to enjoy during your stay. The 800 acres around the cabin is a working cattle ranch which can be accessed with additional arrangements. There are a couple of great restaurant/bars in the neighboring area. Of course you may bring food to prepare at the cabin. Overall the place has my overwhelming approval. A few SMALL complaints. The internet was very slow in the evenings. The TV didnt work. They had a bunch of DVDs you could watch but no DVD player. The only other downside was no curtains on any of the windows so anyone outside could see in at night. All those are small things. We spent almost all the time fishing at Rockbridge so we were just there to sleep and shower. The pictures do not do this cabin justice. It is very pretty and quaint. Lovely property and lots of wildlife. Cell service is almost non existant so if this is a problem for you this might not be the right place. We needed time to decompress so it was actually a blessing for us. There is wifi and its fast enoigh to listen to music or watch netflix etc. The cabin has everything you could possibly need. I recommend bringing firewood, we drive around for an hour and could not find a local selling it. We did check the wooded area of the property and found enough for our needs. The bear was a nice touch! If you are looking for peace and quiet this would be the place. I believe it would be great for star gazing as well, however we had solid rain while there. Sitting on the front porch was relaxing listening to the water flow through the creek. We would have liked to enjoy the fire pit but the rain never let up. The weather cannot be controlled and in this case it was okay just to kick back. We did tour Glade Top and highly recommend going. The only major drawback (and it was important to me) was lack of cell reception. I had to drive to Ava for enough of a signal to check on things back home. Had I known I could not be reached in case of emergency, I would not have rented the cabin. Due to the time of year we were unable to use the upstairs. Between the "fake lady bugs" and the wasps there were dead bugs everywhere. Again, it was just that time of year both are a problem. I was more concerned about the wasps as I am allergic. All in all if you are looking for a quiet getaway, I highly recommend the place. There is enough space and having a kitchen allowed for cooking since we have special dietary needs. ##### Dianna R.
