"Location was great. Staying in town for wedding events and needed something budget friendly but convenient. This worked perfectly. Easy parking, even arriving late, friendly staff, clean spacious rooms, and great breakfast spread. Enjoyed my stay and will definitely be a repeat customer if I need to stay in San Jose again. Additionally, for those with lots of luggage or other needs, they had a roomy elevator to take you to the second floor. 10/10 recommend."

"After a long day of traveling and visiting San Francisco, this house was perfect to come to, relax in the living room and unwind with friends. We enjoyed the open floor plan and the spacious areas; loved the master bedroom although I would have liked a bench at end of bed or a chair to sit on to get dressed. We had a bit of issue getting to turn TV’s on then realized the problem was that one of the remotes wasn’t working. We enjoyed watching a movie and eating pizza together. The house was clean, did not smell or had any bugs. The beds were a bit noisy-squeaky but overall we were able to sleep and get good nights rest. Loved the dinnerware and silverware and the kitchen setup.The location was ideal, close to shopping center and gas stations as well as freeway. It was nice and quiet at night as well. We truly loved this house. "

"Check in was great. The owner met me there at the designated time. The bed did not have a mattress cover and only a bottom sheet and blanket. The pillows were old and flat. There was only one white old stiff bath towel & a couple of hand towels. The toilet and shower was not clean. There was also no fire alarm. When I complained to the host he brought another bath towel, fire alarm & a space heater. He really is a nice guy but for the price it should have been in much better shape. The furniture is old. The bed is not comfortable. There is no way 2 people could sleep there comfortably. Also the studio share walls with the main house. One night the tenants were partying late… like 2am. He was unable to get them to stop screaming and making noise. There is a door on my side and I opened it… there’s a door on there side and I opened it and could see the people in the house. There was only a partial covering. I yelled at them to be quiet & they finally shut it down at 3:00 am. I went out and purchased sheets, towels a comforter and some candles & I was able to make myself comfortable for the remainder of the stay . I did tell the owner after the night of the party that I wanted to leave and I wanted a refund and he said I could leave but would have to take it up with VRBO. I couldn’t afford to rent another place not knowing if I would get a refund from VRBO. Ultimately, it could be a cozy place if they spent some money to upgrade the bed dresser etc and had a cleaning person. "

"The place looked exactly like the photos and was super clean. Check-in was easy and everything worked how it was supposed to, which made the whole stay really smooth. The space felt comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall no complaints at all. I'd definitely stay here again. "
