"Hotel peaked years ago. Staff is very arrogant - had reserved a king bed months and months ago and they didnt have any . Constant weddings and such loud music from the weddings late into the night. Food overpriced. Not worth the high price tag . Do airbnb or Verbo. This is a pass"

"The resort community is fabulous and Kiawah golf courses and restaurants beyond amazing. The Villas are old and tired. If ur not on top floor noise from above brutal - not that people were loud just every footstep is heard especially with little ones."

"This is the 2nd year in a row that my friend and I have stayed in this unit. The price is very reasonable for the location. The view off the balcony doesn't overlook the beach, but the live oaks and other tropical vegetation surrounding the unit provides a peaceful spot to relax. The beach is less than 2 minute's walk away without crossing a road - instead there is a nice paved trail to the boardwalk. and it's located a quick bike ride away from Night Heron Park. The whole island and beaches are kept clean and safe, and it occurred to me that you don't smell even a hint of that ocean fishy smell. I went for the wildlife and the peaceful beach, and was NOT disappointed. I would definitely stay there again and again!"
