Well-equipped and homely, with a few stunning period features here and there, it’s no wonder this holiday home gets such glowing feedback from its guests. After stepping through the front door and heading up the stairs, visitors to Paskins will find a light and welcoming apartment, centred around a cosy lounge with an L-shaped sofa and Smart TV. Next door is the kitchen, with a dining table that seats four, plus everything you’d expect for the perfect self-catering stay (including kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, hob and dishwasher). The master bedroom comes with a zip-and-link double bed (which can be converted to twin beds on request) as well as a historic red-tiled fireplace and a sleek and sophisticated en-suite shower room. There’s also a light and airy second bedroom (another zip-and-link double which can be switched to a twin) with access to the family bathroom - which includes an inviting roll-top bath, with a shower over for those who prefer it. Free parking is available on Ward Avenue which is five minutes walk away. There is council run pay and display car park in Northwood Park which is five minutes walk away. Tourist parking permits can be purchased online. On arrival there was milk tea coffee sugar etc and a nice bottle of bubbles! Only one complaint was the early alarm at. Around 6:15 am every morning the pub close by would put out there empty bottles! I was So close after day 4 to go tell them it’s a disgrace to be doing this so early in the morning but I was So Tired having been woke every day that I couldn’t be bothered!
