Lovely newly refurbished house. Having stayed in Cowes before this is by far the best location for amenities.

A week in Cowes
Insignia is a great place to stay, it gives you a great base from which to explore the island and is ideally situated for the shops, bars & restaurants in Cowes town.
The property is well maintained and is very clean. The bathroom is a real treat with a lovely walk in shower and a big bath. The bedrooms are all fine and we found the bed to be very comfortable.
The stairs are a bit tight, as was the parking spot but we quickly got used to them both and they didn’t cause us any issues. Cows is a great place and all the pubs and restaurants were very welcoming, I would particularly recommend the Coast Restaurant.

Insignia at the Isle of Wight
After arriving at the property - we had a little trouble - we locked ourselves out! We phoned the help line and very promptly it was all taken care of. Was very impressed with how efficient Island Holiday Homes are and the housekeeper was lovely. The home was beautiful and had been modernised nicely. The beds were huge and very comfortable. The only thing that we struggled with was sharing one bathroom with 5 people but I missed that when reading the listing. There were a couple of bits that needed updating like the kitchenware - pots and pans mainly- but overall everything was very functional. The area is great with everything you could need in Cowes. Three amazing coffee shops and lots of different food places. Lots of quaint shops to buy gifts. It was a great stay and would definitely suggest to family and friends.

Fantastic family vrnue
We managed to rent two properties next to each other for my big birthday, for a big family holiday. What a brilliant time we had. From booking to departure we were looked after.
Great property with everything you require and so close to so many nearby attractions.
Fabulous memories made - thank you
Jennie
Clean, well equipped kitchen although a little lacking in work space when cooking. Beds were comfortable and sitting room was cosy. Dogs loved it and very well situated for all amenities. Only issue was parking - when we booked the listing says there was parking but on arrival we found the parking was no longer available. Also can I suggest you move the sofa next to the dining table as we couldn't use the dining table properly ( there were six of us!) as we were unable to pull it out or move the sofa anywhere.

Beautiful home for a family holiday
We were six adults, two children and a dog and yet this beautifully restored family home never felt cramped. Situated right in the centre with lovely shops, restaurants and pubs all within and a minute or twos walking distance and an M&S food store just round the corner everything you need is there to make for a stress free holiday. The agents could not do enough for us and so we had a really happy holiday together as a family.
We would definitely recommend this holiday home but be aware there are steep stairs to climb as is often the case with these old town houses.
