This is a lovely 4 star hotel. Cv nice indoor and outdoor pool. The staff and v attentive and breakfast are good. Location is knockout. But the food in the restaurant isn’t great. Also if it’s busy you get put in a very sub standard cafe type extension - tables without table clothes and v uncomfortable dining chairs. I would recommend to friends with this one provisor.

A very cool location and history to this converted building. Our room was very white and clean, a tribute to its past I'm sure. Staff were almost all great. Our waiter would go a long way if he smiled or at least pretended he was happy to have this job. Overall a good experience.

Spectacular drive to the hotel and then from the hotel over the mountains to Coimbre. Views were absolutely amazing. The hotel is fantastic. Loved every minute of our experience there.

After a winding road we arrived at a beautiful hotel. Checking in was done with ease and our room had the most beautiful vista, garden’s wonderful well worth the journey.

Lovely, clean, peaceful. And the staff were incredible - we left before breakfast, and they packed us fresh pastries to take with us. They met us at the counter with them at the crack of dawn. What a wonderful experience.

Stunning private location and venue. We didn’t get much views of the valley from our Turrett room but it was nice to have our own balcony. The AC in the room isn’t that efficient at cooling but other than that, everything was perfect

Well located hotel and beautiful lobby area. Great staff . Valet parking which is helpful. Our room was extremely small, the towels were old and needed replacing , the bed comfy but pillows were not. I would say the hotel needs a refurb.

The suite I was shown was nothing like the one that I reserved in the Expedia Web site. So the hotel suggested another suite that was more like the one that I saw in the Expedia Web site, However, they called it humorously the Presidential suite and charged me another 143 euros for our three night stay! That suite was nicer but the bed was very uncomfortable and the carpets were stained and dirty. I complained but the Hotel did not offer to do anything about the extra charge. The property is in a beautiful part of Portugal, and in a great site. There is paid EV charging on site, a sauna, two pools (one outside and another inside) a restaurant and a reasonable free breakfast included. Would I go back to the Hotel again? No. Would I go back to another hotel in the same region? YES!
