The staff were very attentive and helpful. The property especially on the perimeter has accumulated an unacceptable amount of debris. I was hoping by the time I left there would have been an improvement, but NOT. Further, the pool was 3ft deep end-to-end and had algae growing in it. That was disgusting to say the least. Lastly, your DO NOT DISTURB sign means knock to see if you want the room cleaned smh. On a scale of 10… I rate the property a 6. I will not revisit this property nor recommend it to others.

Stayed here for a week, Positives: 1. The staff were excellent. Carlos the bartender was very informative and served great drinks. 2. Ivan the cook was amazing. All the food at the restaurant was delicious. 3. On the beach. 4. There is a dock where you can be picked up by boats you charter. 5. Secluded and private Negatives: 1. Although it's on the beach the water is full of seaweed so it did not entice me to go swimming. It is not clear, unless you go out on a boat. 2. It's a distance from other places but nothing that cannot be reached by golf cart.

Belize Reef Escape at St Georges Caye offers an unforgettable island getaway with some of the most breathtaking views of Belize’s famous blue waters. The resort’s location is ideal for anyone seeking relaxation and natural beauty—every sunrise and sunset is picture-perfect. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible Belizean food, lovingly prepared by Yoli. Every meal was a treat, featuring local flavors and fresh ingredients. The rooms were clean and provided a comfortable, peaceful environment, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The staff at Belize Reef Escape were exceptionally attentive, always ready to help and ensure a wonderful experience. Excursions organized by the resort were a blast—snorkeling, kayaking, island hopping, and more. We highly recommend asking for Jay when booking excursions; he brings so much energy and fun to every trip, making each outing memorable. It’s worth noting that there aren’t sandy beaches at the resort or on the island, but the clear blue waters, laying in the hammocks and reading our books and the amazing excursions more than make up for it. We did have some issues with the hot water in our room, but this may have been user error, and the staff was quick to address it. I’m confident it’s no longer an issue. Overall, Belize Reef Escape on St Georges Caye is a fantastic destination for anyone looking for relaxation and authentic Belizean hospitality. We enjoyed our stay at the Palms very much. Close to everything in San Pedro… nice pool and rooms were nice too!

The staff and the property were amazing! We will be back again! Best vacation ever!
