Host was incredibly helpful and kind. So gracious! And the house was perfect- clean, modern and had everything we needed for our stay. Would stay again!
Wonderful property. Very clean throughout. The house has everything you need. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, coffee maker, Keurig, two refrigerators, dishwasher...has it all. Beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked with towels and paper products. You can't go wrong selecting this VRBO.
We had an amazing time this house had everything we needed minus groceries had games for the family toys for the kid books horseshoes kayaks fishing in the backyard and close enough to go to the Buffalo or to bull shoals it was the best experience yet
From the secluded location to the river access from the house, this was perfect for our guys/fishing trip. Spacious accommodations, cleanliness, access to kayaks, etc, everything was set up great for our trip! Thank you!
Very nice home on a spacious lot with river frontage. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, and river access. Very relaxing stay. Even saw bald eagles while sipping our morning coffee! Host was available for any questions and allowed us to use their personal kayaks. Already planning out next visit to this property.
Buck Trout Lodge is a perfect location for trout fishing, relaxing and enjoying nature. The house was very clean and had everything needed to make a great stay. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cookware, and treats were waiting for us on the counter. Very welcoming. The beds were very comfortable. The host had great communication with us. We will definitely be back!
We stayed to get a lay of the land prior to another booking in July. It did not disappoint. The house/grounds were perfect. The house had anything you could think of from linens, kitchen items, kayaks, two refrigerators, horse shoes, fire pit, and fishing, This is a large house (4BR) that is perfect for a larger family. Carie was extremely helpful and gave recommendations for other services as well
Amazing location with instant access to beautiful river and trout fishing. House has large kitchen and plenty of space. Host was very responsive and helpful! Will definitely stay again and highly recommend!!
Awesome property. We fished the White River in the back yard as well as Crooked Creek nearby. We had a great time and the cabin was in excellent shape.
The house was exactly as noted in the ad. Check-in was great, no issues! There was plenty of room for our 7 adults with room to spare. Lots of items are provided if you forget something. The kitchen is very roomy with lots of light!
This place was outstanding. Just stayed 4 nights with 6 high school buddies. its was our 38 year getting together for a long weekend. The location was perfect for outdoor activities with the White River 50-60 yards from the back patio that had awesome view of the river. We sat in the river every afternoon enjoying some fishing and the boat traffic of fishermen and floaters. The water was chilly but tolerable( think of your own ice plunge) the temp outside was over 100 deg.The house has perfect layout for large groups with great big kitchen - bar stools, large kitchen table, large living area, long deep main level back patio with plenty of seating for large groups, ceiling fans. bedroom were more than accommodating for our group along with bathrooms with (no waiting) - 2 large refrigerators to store all our food and BEVERAGES and ICE. large garage. secluded drive literally no traffic. the host, Carrie, was excellent. prompt responses, great information on the area for sight seeing, kayaking - which we did with Rileys Outfitters( family owned and super nice - flexible with float times and pickups) - restaurant recommendations etc... I do not book VRBO often myself - my wife handles that most of the time - and Carrie made this process can of corn. Cotter is great little town. I highly recommend The Sands cafe for breakfast( we ate there 3 days in a row. opens early and the food service was top notch . I would rate this a 10 if possible -
What a great place!! My husband, son, and grandsons had a great time fishing from the backyard! The house was beautiful, well stocked, and had plenty of space for all 7 of us. Grandkids can't wait to go back again! We will definitely stay at this house again. The homeowner was very easy to reach and was great to work with.
My roller derby team and I stayed at this house for a tournament weekend in Victoria. It is spacious, gorgeous, and has a wonderful kitchen/dining/living room area to enjoy our time together. The house had everything we needed (an ironing board, excellent washer and dryer, and a huge fridge/freezer). Every room offers incredible views of the mountains and surrounding hills. Cannot recommend this home highly enough!
