"Loved our stay at the Gale River House. It's a quaint boutique style hotel. We had everything we needed right in town. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. Check in is easy with the app. I'd highly recommend staying there if you're looking for a place near Franconia."

"Clean hotel rooms with good breakfast . Location is very convenient. Breakfast was good but management needs to add more staff in the kitchen to help during peak season like Columbus Day weekend . Rooms were not recently renovated but very well maintained , beds were good. I have a EV vehicle and all the superchargers nearby got super busy during Columbus Day long weekend . Hotel has a trickle charging outlet on the light pole in the backside parking lot , though it is very slow it helped me to plug in my EV mobile charger and saved my time. Staff were good too ! Only negative was one of the elevators were not working . Over all I recommend this hotel !"

"This is a lovely historic inn and the building is quirky to say the least! The stairs and floorboards are very creaky and our room had a tilt! The room was cosy and the bed comfortable although the bathroom was quite tiny. There was a coffee machine in the room but could have done with an extension lead to reach a plug! The coffee maker downstairs was good though. Breakfast was included and delicious."
