"The property location is fantastic, and the bed was very comfortable. As others have mentioned, the hotel is in dire need of an update. The shower was scummy and the fixture was loose so the shower head kept falling. Also the door to the shower wouldn't close properly, so showering without making a huge mess on the floor took some practice.. the wallpaper was Peking and there was mold on the walls. The staff was friendly, in my limited experience with them."

Die muss unbedingt erneuert werden, hatte ziemlich Rückenschmerzen, das Bettgestänge kam durch die Matratze durch. Auch ist das Gebäude sehr hellhörig. Ohne ohrstöpsel und zusätzliche Decken zwischen Bett und Matratze hätte ich das nicht durchgehalten. Ach ja, WLAN gab es auch nicht, auch nach Nachfrage…Desolee…"

"Francoise has a lovely home, with lots of space and a fantastic patio. It is beautifully decorated and is well stocked with cups, glasses (for any beverage), cutlery (oyster knives!), pots, pans and just about anything you need. We really enjoyed our stay. The home is very close to Amboise, but it is recommended that you have a rental car as the walk to town would be difficult. However, the drive into town is very easy. Parking is available.
