My go to motel when visiting family.

I very much liked the set-up of the room. It was basically a suite, but it was one room. The two large beds were separated by the bathroom and the sink across from the bathroom. It created privacy without real privacy, but my 15 year old felt as if he had his own room and each bed section had their own television. You might consider adding a "barn door" (sliding thing) in the portion with the kitchenette, and then there would be actual privacy (for changing or napping if you needed). We loved the balcony where we could walk out and see the ducks, geese, and other wildlife, as well as the river and the people floating down it. It was great to be able to check out tubes to float down the river; what a great perk! After I was finished tubing, I sat on our balcony and drank water and watched my husband and son tube down the river several more times. We did not like that we needed to drive to breakfast, but it had several choices and lots of seating once we did get there. Parking for breakfast was difficult, but because it was early, we could park in the lot next door (the attraction there did not open until 10AM). When we came back to the room the second night, the parking lot was full and we had to park in the overage lot, which was a little far away, and that would not have been bad except it was pouring rain. Overall we loved our stay and the room was terrific!

No complaints from us! Everything was clean and the staff were super friendly! We had breakfast and were taking a little longer to finish with our 6yo and they were very understanding and helpful.
