Le Clos de la Balme est un peu éloigné des commerces si l'on n'est pas motorisé, mais avec la navette ou de bonnes jambes la liaison se fait facilement. On peut rejoindre l'ecole de ski par la navette ou par une piste verte, que les enfants ont pu descendre dès leur 3e jour.
