The best of both worlds, a unique location that backs up to the Currituck Wildlife Refuge yet just a short walk or drive to the beach! Nestled among the tall pines, with no neighboring houses, this brand new rustic inspired beach house sets itself apart where every window offers a picturesque view of the woods. Overlooking the wildlife refuge is an expansive screened porch creating the optimal space for bird watching and relaxation with the sights and sounds of nature. The night time is perfect for stargazing with the absence of city lights. Whether you choose to spend your days lounging on the beach, bird watching, observing the wild horses, exploring the wildlife refuge, or simply enjoying the tranquility of your surroundings, this beach house offers a one of a kind coastal experience! This home was designed with ease in mind , only one flight of steps and all on one level! It has a cozy living room with a smart TV , sound bar and an electric fireplace. The eat-in kitchen is well equipped and has a large custom made table. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms consisting of 1 spacious primary bedroom with full bathroom and a dedicated working space, 2 additional bedrooms that share the hallway bath. Each bedroom has a queen bed, smart TV, ceiling fan and its own mini split system allowing guests to customize their bedroom temperature. There is a half bath downstairs and an outdoor shower. The screened porch has a 6 seat dining table , 4 adirondack chairs , 2 side tables, a large bar like table , 2 mounted bluetooth speakers, led lighting and a compact refrigerator. Things to do- \*The Beach! We will provide 2 beach parking passes. One of the coolest things about Carova is you can park directly on the beach , no lugging chairs, coolers etc from a parking lot . You will drive on the beach, over sand ramps and on sand roads to access the house, 4 wheel drive and airing down is a must! The house is exactly as pictured and sits in a beautiful spot. We saw the horses one day at the house. The beach is a very short drive. Penny definitely made sure you felt at home and also had everything you may need there for the beach. She let us know that the house was ready early and to remember that we needed to gas up and grocery shop before getting onto the 4x4 beach. We were NOT disappointed with this house or stay. This is such a great house and great location! This was our fourth stay in this part of the Outer Banks so we knew what to expect. We love the area and that sense of getting away from everything. This house is perfect for that! No neighbors and it backs up to a nature preserve? I was immediately sold!The house was so clean! Had everything we needed (and more) along with a split bedroom layout. Perfect for a couples trip or a family. The owners are so sweet and thoughtful! It’s obvious they put a lot of care into hosting. They accounted for so many little details like having extra phone charging cables, toothbrushes, and even providing a bag of charcoal for the grill!
