This beautifully decorated semi-oceanfront home has fantastic ocean views from multiple locations on the top-level. Sea Star is a Blue Ribbon Service Property, which means that you'll be greeted with a customized welcome bag and all three King Bedrooms at the property are outfitted with 250 thread count linens to ensure that you stay cozy during your stay at the beach. Sea Star has a private pool with optional heat for a fee and plenty of deck space around the pool and the property for maximum use of the sunny days, starlit nights and sea breezes. You also have distant views (1.5 miles) of the Currituck Lighthouse from the north side of the property in both the top and mid-level master bedrooms. The poolside kitchenette houses a full-size refrigerator, sink with granite countertop, and microwave, making it the perfect place to stage those special family meals by the pool. Despite the rains that Storm Debby brought during our week, Sea Star did not disappoint. The location is excellent! The pictures made the great room and kitchen look bigger than they were, but there was still plenty of room for the 11 of us. We had some maintenance issues (ice machine and dryer) when we got there but the property management company came out and addressed them within a couple of days. The pool, hot tub and pole table got a lot of use with the teens and kids in our group and were great amenities to have. Our group also agreed that none of us have ever stayed at a house that the kitchen was as well stocked as this one! Crockpots, Ninja blenders, Ninja CREAMi, 2 coffee pots, electric skillet, steamers, etc. The only complaints from the group had been the cleanliness of the bathrooms and spiders! The bathrooms could definitely use some additional cleaning. Not terrible, but not what we expected for a house we paid this much money for. And also spiders! There were quite a few on the first and second floors. Even with these minor complaints, we would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others. ##### Christi P. The location was perfect as it’s just across from beach access. The area was far enough down that the beach was never crowded even thought OBX is extremely crowded this summer. Pros- We loved the set up of the house and the outside. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the inside spaces and the outside spots. The master bedrooms are stunning and comfortable. The kitchen is awesome and the bar area has an amazing ice maker for coolers and cold beverages. The kitchen even has to dishwashers. The pool is awesome and the shaded spot is great for hanging out outside of the sun. The views are spectacular. Recommendations- The inside has clearly been updated and is beautifully decorated. The outside needs a good power wash and is a bit dated. There are cobwebs and dead bugs. It didn’t bother us but just something we noticed! ##### Morgan B.
