Walk in from the 2 car-carport right into a den/game room. Here you can enjoy a sporting game of foosball and then retreat to the loveseat and a watch a movie or maybe a sporting event on the flat screen HDTV. A wet bar with a full refrigerator provides a convenient space for your snacks and drinks. A full hall bath and a bedroom with a full over full bunkbed will turn into the kids' retreat. You might not see them for days! The second level is a great room decorated with hardwood floor, soothing neutral decor and thoughtful touches. A flat panel HDTV invites you to sit down with friends and family as you watch a movie together or discover a favorite new TV show. Vaulted ceilings give the area an open and spacious feel. Exit through the sliding glass doors to enjoy your private balcony. It's a lovely spot to start your morning or end your afternoon with your favorite beverage of choice. An updated and generous kitchen, with crisp white cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and pendant lighting fixtures awaits the family chef. He or she will have plenty of working space and everything needed to create a memorable meal. The three air-conditioned Corolla Light trolleys run every 20-25 minutes during the summer season. Getting around the resort is so easy! The downstairs rec room with foosball table and fridge/sink was great for snacks and drinks for our grandkids. All the bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The great room had lovely beachy decor and plenty of seating for everyone for our seafood feast. The place was spotless and there was ample parking for our 2 SUVs. It’s about a block to public beach access with parking, or easy to hop on the trolley to the main resort pools and walkway to the beach. The location is convenient to the Shad Street beach access that has a parking lot that we used easily because we were here in September after the main season. The community trolly stopped running before our week, so we drove down and back for convenience. The beach was not crowded and the water was beautiful! The unit is nicely equipped and decorated as the pictures show. We had one minor issue with some outside areas that needed additional attention from the cleaning/maintenance team. I texted the management company and they sent someone over to take care of the items. He was really nice and did a great job and was very pleasant. We used the grill and cooked in the kitchen and found what we needed. There are a variety of restaurants nearby and we balanced eating in and out. We used the community pickleball courts frequently and they are easy to reserve and free. The ones by the beach are in better condition than the other ones, unless they fix them this winter. It was a bit chilly for the pool but we visited them and they were nice with lots of places to sit. The indoor facilities also were nice, although we didn’t need to use them. We visited the horses on a tour and had a great experience. We walked to Currituck Lighthouse from the unit and recommend visiting Kind Cup for coffee and island photos and gifts. If you are looking for a good location in Corolla, I would recommend this place. ##### Lara L. There was dirt in the tub when we arrived, the carpet had stains and everything was worn down and chipped or broken. It took us 46 min to get to Disney the first day. It was 85 degrees inside when we arrived but I wasn’t allowed to turn the temp below 70 so we were sweltering the whole night. Only other suggestion is to put the kitchen items for guest use in the upstairs kitchen instead of in the entry floor countertop. Stayed 4 nights in Jun 2024 ### 8/10 Good #### joe s. 31 Jul 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### very nice overall, very nice property. the inside is very clean. bed mattresses are only a couple of inches thick and not particularly comfortable. the outside spaces (grille, deck, hot tub) are pretty gross - mostly covered in dead bugs and cobwebs. however, the inside was great, and it was too hot to stay out there for long any way. very quick drive or walk to the public beach parking which always seemed to have spots open. ##### joe s.
