We are only 3.5 miles up the beach with spectacular and unobstructed oceanfront views. Sandfiddler Rd. in front of us is closed because it is covered by large dunes so there will never be any traffic driving directly in front of the house. Also, we own the oceanfront lot ahead of us, ensuring plenty of space for your vacationing family. There is also a 16'x16' dune platform deck, offering a beautiful ocean front experience, without concern for beach traffic. Perfect for morning Yoga! Every bedroom is a master suite with a private bathroom (tub and shower with near instant hot water in each bathroom), pillow-top mattresses (excluding bunks), amazing views, and private deck access. Ground Level: a gated & heatable pool with a poolside half bath, a 7-person hot tub, an outside shower with hot water, walkways from the pool area to every house entrance, and an outside fish cleaning table. Also on the ground level is a Game Room that has a video game machine with over 60 classic arcade games such as Pacman, Frogger, and Donkey Kong that can be played with 1 or 2 players. We also have a foosball table, 2 full-size refrigerators and a small refrigerator for fresh fish and bait. Mid-Level: 4 master suites; 2 with King beds, 1 with Twin over full bunk with twin trundle, 1 with bunk set, queen bed, and a full-size crib. Each bedroom has a private bathroom and private deck access. This level also has a laundry room and a sitting area with a small sofa and 55" Smart TV. Upper-Level: Beautiful LVP flooring throughout. 2 King master suites (1 with jacuzzi tub), a spacious living room with newer furnishings, cathedral ceilings, ceiling fans, powder room, 65 inch Samsung HD Smart TV. There is also a ship's watch where you can relax, read, or just enjoy the view of the ocean. Our fully stocked gourmet kitchen with granite countertops includes 2 newer refrigerators w/ice makers and a newer stove along with many extra appliances including; griddle, crockpot, Ninja Dual Brew coffee maker and more! Each renter will be given a new access code via email prior to their arrival. Clean linens are provided (Towels are NOT, but can be rented through our cleaning service) Non-smoking Pet free home Driving Information Four-wheel drive vehicle required to access Dream’s End. It's best to arrive before dark because the beach is more difficult to navigate at night. We recommend lowering your tire pressure to 15-20 psi, so be sure to bring a tire pressure gauge along. Tires can be re-inflated at the free air stations at the Historic Corolla Park or any of the area gas stations. Check area tide charts prior to arrival. Low tide is ideal for beach driving. Follow all posted speed limits (35 mph or 15 mph when within 300 feet of pedestrians or wild horses). Drive on the hard-packed sand near the edge of the water or close to the dunes. Leave the middle of the beach available for parked vehicles. Drivers must be 16 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. ATVs are not permitted by guests (residents only). Parking passes are now REQUIRED on Currituck County beaches between last Sat in April and first Sat in Oct. These are only needed to park on the beach. Driving on the beach and parking at the house do not require passes. As owners in the 4WD area, we will receive 2 beach parking permits for our guests to use. We can't guarantee that these will make it through the season without being lost or taken home by guests. We will do our best to replace them, but it may take some time. It is crucial that you as guests leave these permits at the house on your departure for the upcoming guests. Currituck County does not allow personal motorized watercraft on the ocean. However, jet skis and personal motorboats are allowed on the Currituck Sound. For more information regarding Currituck County's rules and regulations, please contact the Currituck County Chamber of Commerce. IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING CANCELLATIONS If NC or Currituck County closes access to the beach house due to Covid-19 restrictions, we will happily reschedule your trip or provide refunds if needed. It was a blast, just air down tires to around 20 lbs. Driving up the dunes to the house was no problem. House was everything they advertised. Pool and hot tube were used every day. My grandkids lived in the ocean, learned how to bodysurf and ride a skim board. We had four refrigerators, two upstairs and two down. Horses came by the house on three or four occasions at dusk or early morning. Plenty of beach chairs and pool toys. Outdoor grill worked great. Overall a great experience. ##### James B. We were there for a family vacation and had 3 toddlers and 2 babies. The toddlers were always busy. Watching the horses that came through daily, swimming going to beach or just playing on sand outside door. Every room had access to outside and the sunrises are beautiful. The house is amazing and fully stocked with all of your kitchen and house hold needs. The oceanfront views are stunning. I even enjoyed watching a storm light up the sky and ocean from the living room couch one night. A short walk across the dunes and you’re right on the beach. The house was clean and spacious enough for our group of 12 (six adults and six children). We had a minor issue with the LOCKLY device on our arrival day, but the owners were readily available and willing to help with this. We saw wild horses every day, which filled the children with excitement. The outdoor shower and bathroom were perfect for rinsing off after a day on the beach. This was our first time in Corolla 4x4 and I hope to return again! Beautiful memories made! ##### Julie S. We had some good fishing while there. We saw wild horses every day. We even got to witness sea turtles hatch and head to the sea. The only downside is I would not recommend this property if you don't have four wheel drive. We witness all wheel drives get stuck in the sand. It is not so bad when you ride along the beach it is getting off over the dunes and into the house. At high tide you have to take a secondary road which is very difficult to navigate with any other vehicle except a four wheeler. Enjoyed our trip The only problem with check in was using the phone to enter the house. Lockly only worked on one of our eight phones. ##### Sue J. Dreams End was overall a wonderful new addition to our beach experiences. First, the house was very nicely appointed with all the comforts we expected. The decks offered breathtaking views of the both the ocean and of wild horses!!! The host was very attentive to all our questions and provided lots of clear information about the house and location. The pool and hot tub were used a lot as well as the grills for our group dinners. While we all had 4WD or AWD vehicles with no one getting stuck in the sand, the beach driving back and forth from Corolla was a bit stressful for a few of our group since we had never stayed at a beach vacation house that wasn't off of pavement. The coming and going traffic on the beach was also something we were not used to seeing. But it certainly did not stop us from enjoying the ocean at all. Overall, a very lovely week at Dreams End. Dreams End was everything listed and so much more. Pulling up to the house all our jaws dropped instantly. It was absolutely beautiful!! The kids ran inside looking for the perfect room. Once they found it they immediately put on swimwear to jump in the pool. We all had a wonderful time. From waking up and walking to the beach to watch the sun rise, to sitting on the top deck looking out over the ocean, to seeing wild horses walk right up beside our pool. We got to watch "Ethan' the baby run and play while we ate dinner. We watched the sunset from the front deck. Star gazed from the pool and the platform. It was definitely a trip we will never forget and are already planning on coming back to Dreams End!! The owners were amazing. When I called they answered and even sent messages while there. We enjoyed staying on the beach. It was easy to drive our vehicle onto the beach and made bringing all of our gear easier. The views of the sunrise and sunset were unbelievable. Everyone loved watching the horses walk around the beach. The pool was perfect. It was a great alternative to the beach. We loved how well stocked the kitchen was. There was everything we needed to make all of our meals. The owners were quick to answer any questions that we had.
