Located within the popular Monteray Shores community on the picturesque Currituck Sound, Carolina Sunset has everything you need to make for a memorable Outer Banks vacation. You can even bring your pup with you! When it's time to hit the beach, the nearest beach access is just a 4-minute drive (0.8 miles) to the Bonito Street public beach access with parking. Walk out on the private pier to the boat dock to launch your kayak, SUP or another shallow draft boat. Enjoy fishing, boating and amazing water views! This home is equipped with an extra full refrigerator on the ground level to chill boat and beach drinks, and recreation gear for guest use, including bikes, kayaks and a SUP. Rinse off in the outdoor shower after a day on the water, then toss your towels in the ground-level laundry room. Blue Currituck Sound views abound from the bright and spacious top level great room, with comfortable furnishings around the flat-screen TV. Not so much handicapped/bad knee friendly (we had three with bad knees and it was difficult) due to many stair levels, dining room even has stairs. We expected stairs but this was more than we had anticipated for people with mobility problems. It did have a well equipped kitchen and really enjoyed the huge shower head in the master bedroom. I gave it five stars because guests without mobility issues would find the location, view, host/rental communication, and ease of check in and out great. ##### natriya r.
