Vacation like a celebrity when you book Dear Summer... (formerly Victorian Fan Ta Sea). Once featured on TLC's Jon & Kate Plus 8, this large Victorian-style rental is the perfect place to bring the whole family (and your four-legged best friend!) for a relaxing getaway. Less than 500 yards to the beach, a day of fun in the sun is just a short walk away.

Pull up to your beach cottage and park underneath one of two single-car carports and enjoy plenty of outdoor space to store your beach gear. Summers get hot in the OBX so you and your family will love lounging around in the huge (16' x 32') Private Pool and enjoying some friendly competition at the Ping Pong Table. A cozy Game Room with a half bath is the ideal place to pull out your favorite board game or have some fun with the Pool Table and Foosball Table. The convenient Wet Bar with a beverage fridge ensures snacks and cool drinks are at your fingertips. The laundry area is also located on this level.

Walk upstairs to the first level and enter into a large, decorated foyer. Rest comfortably in one of the 2 King Bedrooms or the plush Queen Bedroom. The Bunk Bedroom down the hall is a great place for the kids to hang out with a Pyramid Bunk and a Twin-Over-Twin Bunk Bed. Two Full Bathrooms are located between the bedrooms. Enjoy your quiet, peaceful mornings sipping coffee on the enclosed sundeck with a ceiling fan. Outside, the deck swing is the perfect place to chill after a long day of fun and there is plenty of covered deck space that wraps around the front and side of the house if you prefer to sit in the shade.

The great room on the top floor features a half bath and a huge dining room with seating for ten around the table. The modern kitchen is a great place to cook up your favorite meal and includes updated appliances, a coffee station with a drip coffee maker as well as Keurig and espresso, a blender, iron, ironing board, and a pantry closet for all your beach snacks. Take a seat in the lovely family room full of bright, natural light, so you can enjoy the sun even when it's too hot to sit directly outside, and take a nap on the sleeper sofa. A raised living room area on this level features a TV, fireplace, and tons of seating so the whole family can spend some time making memories together. An inviting King Master Suite with Full Bath completes the top level. Soak up the sea breeze and enjoy awesome ocean views from the outdoor decks wrapping around the side of your beach house. For ultimate serenity, take a dip in the bubbly hot tub under the covered outdoor gazebo complete with incredible views.

Your family will love staying in Corolla. Away from the busiest parts of the OBX but still close to local attractions and great restaurants, there is something nearby that everyone in your party will enjoy. For a one of a kind OBX experience, drive a few minutes down the road to Corolla Wild Horse Tours and take an open-air safari-style tour to spot the Corolla wild horses. For something a little more daring, check out Corolla Adventure Park where the daredevils in your family can climb over 60 different obstacle courses and ride 8 zip lines. And of course, you can't stay in Corolla without visiting the Currituck Beach Lighthouse! For lunch, try Corolla Village Barbecue or Corolla Pizza & Deli. Stop by Fat Crabs Rib Company for dinner and enjoy fresh seafood platters, tasty ribs, or a combo steamer pot. Please note: Visitors should park in driveways and community parking. Overnight parking in community parking lots is prohibited. Parking permits are required for use of the oceanfront community parking lots.
