"So glad we found this gem! Walking distance to lake side bars (colder fall weather) and we enjoyed sitting in the room just as much playing cribbage. Definitely would like to come back during the summer months, too."

"What a fun place to stay! Meticulously clean and comfortable space, it was a great location, central to exploring Detroit Lakes but away from the city for quiet relaxation at the end of the day. The access to pet and feed the alpacas was such a cool experience and they made us laugh every time they came running to greet us! Highly recommend staying at the DW Alpaca Ranch"

"Angela was an excellent host who was very helpful with all our questions, kept us well-informed throughout our stay, and provided easy access for check-in.The lake house itself was very spacious - we never felt crowded even with 14 people! The kitchen was well-supplied for our group's needs, and the game room was a big hit with all guests. One of our favorite features was the patio off the main living area that overlooks both a fire pit and the lake - such a beautiful setup for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property to other large groups looking for a memorable lake getaway!"

"Everything was excellent, from the location and staff at the desk to the cleanliness and breakfast! We couldn’t have asked for anything better. The rooms and very nice, large and clean. The pool is a little small, but works great for the kids."

"We were in the area for a wedding so we did not get to enjoy the relaxation as much as we hoped. There were games visible and the home was very spacious with 3 bedrooms and 2 livingroom areas. 2-stall car garage available for use as well. The home was very clean, the beds were also very comfortable. I would definitely reserve again if I was in the area."

"This property was such a perfect fit. The host left a guide to local things that totally paid off for finding a restaurant for my picky eaters. We go to Detroit Lakes annually for an event but having the lake and fire pit was amazing for our downtime. Best thing was no fights from the grandkids over who got to sleep with grandma!"
