  • Beautiful newly renovated OCEAN-FRONT cottage on .75 of an acre! Enjoy morning coffees from your Adirondack chair on the large 2-tiered DECK, sunrise/sunsets are spectacular! Stroll/beach comb the BEACH right from the edge of the property. PICNIC table/BARBECUE are on the deck & FIRE PIT at the waters edge. Open concept with modern fully equipped kitchen, relaxing living room with SMART TV and fireplace. This COZY retreat is very quiet and private. Perfect for any type of vacation or getaway! New for 2024 is a mini-split, just installed, to provide an air conditioned space in the summer months.

Perfect home base for our NB vacation

My family spent a week at the Salty Dog and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect home base — a beautiful spot for morning coffees and family dinners overlooking the cocagne bay, and a short drive to so many great beaches and attractions (including Hopewell Rocks). Our kids and dog loved running around the big grassy yard and wading in the bay. The hosts were friendly and attentive. Bonus points for the AC which was a life saver during a heat wave.

Quiet Beach Getaway

This beachfront cottage has lots of room outside to enjoy the sun and and is just a short walk to a sandy beach with shallow warm water. Listening to the water with your feet in the warm sand is a recipe for relaxation. Everything you need and very responsive hosts.

Perfect Cozy Cottage

The Salty Dog was just what we needed. Enjoying our coffee on the beautiful deck, while watching the stunning sunrises and blue herons, to the peaceful calm evenings, while relaxing at night. The cottage was the perfect spot to spend a few days to get our ocean fix! The hard part was leaving! We actually did add on another night! T & C you truely have an amazing spot! The Salty Dog Was Wonderful

Loved everything about The Salty Dog, from the cottage to the view. We had perfect weather and enjoyed both mornings having coffee on the deck watching the birds and herons glide over the clear calm water. Loved it so much and plan to go back.
