"Beautiful new room tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. I have exceptionally high standards and I couldn’t fault it. The kitchen was lovely and well equipped if you wanted to cook. Delonghi coffee pod machine, kettle and toaster and 2 ring induction hob and microwave and fridge with freezer compartment. Large contemporary bathroom, great shower and toiletries. Bed was a king size and very comfortable. Nice seating area and tv and an outdoor patio with table and chairs. Wine available to purchase and breakfast cooked to order if you require it, we didn’t. There is noise from the road and passing trains but it felt well insulated and the earplugs provided ensured a great sleep. I could not recommend it highly enough.It felt more like a quality hotel. NOTE to anyone booking through hotels.com/expedia, the 24hr self check in will not work as it gets filled with Expedia’s details and not yours. Luckily we were late afternoon and reception was still open. It’s not the motel’s fault and is frustrating for them too. I’d definitely return and I’d book direct."

"Breakfast was excellent all round. Staff were great, more than ample choice of cereal, juices and hot food. Toaster was a bit slow! Only disappointment of whole stay was the evening meal menu - could not buy a steak or a schnitzel! Limited choice - we didn't go back the second night. Up market fine dining not really our cup of tea! Some more basic options would have been better."

"Good parking. Nice restaurant / takeway on-site. Small room with table & 2 chairs, nice bathroom, cutlery and plates but no cooking facilities only microwave, jug, toaster, fridge, no freezer. No sink or anywhere to wash dishes and cups, but a tea towel available. Room needed airing on arrival. Needs new curtains. Handy to supermarket, gas. Only 7 min drive to Port Elliot or Granite Island causeway."
