Excellent vacation
We were very happy with our stay. The house was perfect for us and the location could not have been better. It is located a short drive to North Conway which is what we wanted. There are many breweries and restaurants within a very easy drive. The only issue we were not thrilled with is you have to bring your own sheets and towels which we did not see mentioned in the original listing. Aside from this I highly recommend this home.

Perfect Getaway
Great place! Dog friendly! Close to all activities but away from the hustle and bustle! Very clean and comfy with responsive management! Great family cabin!

Summer Fun
Our group had 6 adults and a child under 2. We loved this property for its sandy little beach and it’s close proximity to all the state parks. The property had a sizeable yard where we could putt with our portable disc golf basket and still have room for our nephew to safely run around.

Fantastic!
I would like to start off by just saying how wonderful of a time my family and I had. Usually we try to get some sites in but, I didn’t even want to leave. The weather wasn’t the best but the time that we did get to spend outside was so much fun! I had a few older teenagers a )couple new graduates) and they really enjoyed the lake and nights by the fire ♥️ I also have a son who is 4 and has autism and this was is it! He absolutely enjoyed the outdoors and playing in and around the lake. Our furry friend I would say really enjoyed it as well! Thank you so much and also thanks for the use of the kayaks also an added plus!

A Memorial Day to Memorialize
It was such a great experience - we enjoyed kayaking, fishing, smores by the fire, games at the table, our drive up Mt. Washington, and a number of the local shops. The home was lovely, we slept well, and ate until we had our fill. We were fortunate in that the weather was phenomenal, but even if it weren't the scenery could not have been more idyllic, it's just beauty all around. The hosts were responsive, completely reasonable in their expectations, and refreshingly hands-off during our stay. Bottom line - we would love to book again.

Wonderful experience
Beautiful chalet right on the water. The main stretch in North Conway is less than 20 minutes away. My family and our dogs had a wonderful time, Roberta was a fantastic communicator and kept us up to date on all info related to our trip.

Unforgettable experience
We truly enjoyed the private lake access, the kayaks, fire pit, and grill. The weather was perfect the entire time we stayed and we had many meals outside while enjoying the view. Our kids couldn’t have enough of the lake. We had a slight Wi-Fi problem but our host was responsive.

Perfect setting for a quiet, restful, peaceful getaway. Plenty of adventures close by. We enjoyed some spectacular sunsets and lots of swimming. It was nice to have the kayaks, too. The kitchen was well equipped with new appliances with plenty of kitchen and grill utensils. Great internet connection for an online course that my husband attended during our stay. We had a wonderful vacation.

It was exactly what we were looking for. 8 of us looking for an agrestic get there and relax retreat with swimming and fishing. We intend to come back next year. If you plan on fishing, the largemouth key up on june bug colors and black with purple/blue colored soft plastics.

Excellent peaceful retreat
Very nice quiet getaway experience. Loved the location and being right on the water. Caught some beautiful sunsets from the private beach. Dogs had a wonderful time swimming in the pond. Look forward to renting this place again in the future.

We stayed at the cabin over winter break. Well maintained, clean and spacious. Owners were very responsive and check in was so easy. We can't wait to go back in the summer so we can enjoy the beautiful lake!

Awesome NYE get-away!
My fiancé and I spent NYE cozied up at this amazing house! The balcony off of the master bedroom was the perfect place to listen to nature while overlooking the lake. Playing games by the fireplace was the perfect way to ring in the new year! Roberta and Bruce were great communicators and check in/out was easy. We took a 15 min ride to North Conway to get dinner. Definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to get away and unwind!

Cozy Home
Enjoyed spending a long weekend at this lake home. Our dog loved waking up every morning to play catch in the water before a day of hiking. Communication with the owners and always quick and easy. Easy ride into North Conway. The property does require you to bring your own bedding and towels which we love, but remember to bring hand towels for the kitchen and bathrooms and a mat for the floor after showering!

Peace
A simple cottage that invites relaxation and peace. My wife and I brought our Chocolate Lab and enjoyed the time walking in the woods, swimming (dog), and kayaking. The porch and back yard is awesome. The inside living space in comfortable. Kitchen could be stocked better.

Wonderful old New England Cabin feel.
The cabin is older but was immaculately clean. Whole process of check in, move in and check out went well. Loved having fire both inside and out on a fall day! Almost ran out of marshmallows! Hannaford handy for everything needed for somemores! Views amazing with fall coloring reflected in Pequaket Pond on mirror waters. Kayaks were a nice bonus.

Nice quiet week!
We had a very nice quiet week. I caught about 8 Bass when fishing. We would have liked it more if there was more sunshine on the property. There are a lot of trees that shade the property too much but that is just our opinion. The home is quiet outdated and could use some upgrades. All in all we had a nice week! Property was clean and in a great location! We floated on the water most of the days, went for a hike on one day and just enjoyed the rental. Full kitchen was a plus! The water pressure was great and the hot water never ran out after six showers.

We had a lovely stay at Roberta and Bruce’s lakeside house. It was a perfect spot for our family! Roomy bedrooms, stocked kitchen for cooking while staying in, and located in just the right spot. Quiet and peaceful but very close to North Conway’s shops. We enjoyed swimming in the lake, kayaking, and toasting s’mores by the campfire. The only convenience that would have been nice is a dryer. It does have a washer but given it was a damp week, we weren’t able to use it because our clothes would not have dried. We definitely hope to rent again!

This was such a beautiful property!! The communication with Roberta and Bruce was great, they were so quick with responses. It’s not easy to find a home on the water, with a yard, that accepts dogs. Welcoming to kids and dogs
It's sometimes a challenge to find clean lodging that is willing to take both young children and dogs. Really appreciate this little gem on a quiet lake with a "walk-in" waterfront beach just outside the door. We hope to come back again.

Nice quiet lake front property
This is a really nice comfortable house on the lake. No motors are allowed on the lake, so it was quiet all day and night. The fire pit was great for evening use. Overall, this is a perfect lake side retreat, if you are looking for a quiet time with family.

Wonderful!
Cozy, clean cottage. Right on water...a lovely, peaceful pond. Private location but close to everything. Kitchen well stocked w pans etc. No frills, classic summer place but w all you need. Enjoyed the kayaks! The owner was very responsive. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and in the yard, just watching the scenery. Thank you!!!

Great getaway
Our trip was great, would love to stay here again. The property is accurately depicted in the add, location is great. Easy to get to and very quick drive into North Conway. 10 HP restriction on the pond so it was very peaceful. Owner contacted me before the stay and was a delight to talk to. Overall we enjoyed the property and our stay, just wish it was longer!

Nice little getaway
My wife and our two boys were just looking for a spot to get away for a couple days. This was a perfect little cabin to do just that. It's close enough to town to do all the typical North Conway stuff, but far enough away from town to be quiet. We even caught a few fish right out the back door. We had a great time!

Another fantastic stay!

Everything about this cottage was lovely. The location can't be beat, from the backyard views of the lake, to the center of town just minutes away. The interior of the cottage was clean and well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Thank you for a great stay!

The shower lining was torn. There were several bulbs out inside and out. And there were dirty underwear hanging from the outside light on the back deck. That was kind of surprising to see.
