"L'annonce est incomplète car il est inscrit "logement entier" pour la chambre zen alors qu'il s'agit d'une chambre dans une maison où l'autre chambre peut être louée, ce qui a été le cas. Partager la même salle de bain et toilettes n'est pas confortable. De plus la cabine de douche était sale (moisissures). Il faut prendre les clés dans un enclos où il y a des chèvres et un âne. Le matin du départ, la voisine qui nourrit les animaux a reçu un coup de sabot de l'âne ... Je n'étais pas à l'aise...

"This is a beautifully decorated house with ample space, games for the teens, and a wonderful garden area. The best part of the property was the wonderful hosts. We came in late after many of the restaurants had closed and helped us get something to eat. They truly went above and beyond. It has great access to the Loire Valley chateaus and we wish we had more time at this location. The kitchen, coffee bar and bathroom were exceptional. Hats off to whoever the decorator was! "Apart from a few cobwebs (which can appear in moments), the accommodation was clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable and the general feel of the place was appealing; it was very quiet at night, alarm clock was not needed thanks to the very regular dawn chorus of the local cockerels and chickens! "A fantastic stay in Ambrose. The hotel is beautiful - lovely little pool and a wonderful terrace to have a meal in the evening. All staff friendly and exceptionally helpful. Wonderful view of the chateau from our room. Perfectly located in the heart of the town, five minutes walk from the river. Highly recommended."

"We enjoyed our stay in this truly historic chateau. The property has so much history that we enjoyed walking around seeing everything. The architecture is fascinating. Beautiful view of the valley from the dining room. Our room was basic but clean. Big comfortable tub. They had forgotten to change out our towels so we had to ask for fresh. Minor inconvenience. We had an excellent dinner in a beautiful room with high ceilings and a view out to the courtyard. The breakfast is ala carte and plentiful. A nice variety of eggs, bacon, pastries, yogurt, cheese and meats. We were just there for one night driving through to Paris. It fit our needs perfectly."
