We had the best time here. The hosts, Shanna and Kenny were great, super responsive and very helpful with planning things to do. Ernesto, one of the drivers was also fantastic and super helpful. The locals and neighbors around the house were very friendly. A grocery store was located near by and we were able to get most of what we needed to make our meals. Dee has a small bar next door and a small shop where you can get some basics. Dee was so friendly. A Howler Monkey troop came right onto the property one of the days and they were fun to watch. Another Howler Monkey troop spends most of its time across the street at Lloyd’s. Lloyd was happy to allow us on his property to check them out. The accommodations were great. There was a washer and dryer on site that worked well. We did not want to leave and we will definitely be back!

Title: Quiet Luxury Meets Island Magic 🌴✨ Portofino Beach Resort on the north side of San Pedro is truly a hidden gem—perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay while still being close enough to enjoy the fun of Secret Beach. I traveled with my mom, and from the very beginning, the experience was seamless. Even before we arrived, the communication was excellent—they made sure every detail for our beachfront cabana was just right. When we got there, we were welcomed with cocktails, which immediately set the tone for a warm, elevated experience. We stayed in Cabana #6, and I can’t say enough about how beautiful and well-kept everything was. The room was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and felt like a true retreat. You could tell they really care about the details. A huge shoutout to Faura and Rosita at the front desk—they were absolutely exceptional. From pre-arrival communication to in-person service, they went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of every step of the way. The food was incredible, and I especially loved the light continental breakfast included with the stay—it was the perfect, easy start to each day in paradise. Whether you’re traveling solo, with a partner, or with family like I was, this place offers such a beautiful and relaxing escape. Belize never disappoints, and San Pedro continues to be one of my favorite places to return to. This was my first stay at Portofino, and it definitely won’t be my last. Highly recommend☀️

This was just a really nice and comfy place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again sometime.

Staff was great ..pool , restaurant ,bar all were awesome..only 2 major problems 1st every phone number I tried ( including the key card holder and Expedia listed number) didn’t work. Front desk gentlemen gave me a number that was not close to not one of the numbers on the website or on Expedia or their in-house key card holder. 2nd I understand it was a super busy week for them however, the room I got everything was amazing except the fact that I felt like I was in a closet not one window and unfortunately, they said they didn’t have another room to give me, I felt like it was a cave but a really nice cave. Tahinia & Jamir (sorry if I misspelled it.) a great first impression when you walk into the hotel both are very kind very polite and very helpful.
