This rustic-style villa is characterised by a spacious indoor, decorated with stone and a wooden-beam ceiling, which helps convey the authentic atmosphere you would expect to find in such a place. However, despite its rustic character, this villa is equipped with modern equipment, to make you feel at home. The large living room shares space with a comfortable dining area, all warmed up by the brick fireplace. The fully-equipped open kitchen’s bar is made of tree trunks, to keep the same authentic feeling that you find throughout the holiday home. The high ceiling of the dining area have allowed the owner to build a mezzanine, where you’ll find a comfortable sofa, ideal for reading at peace. The ground floor also welcomes two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds; the bathroom of the villa is provided with a shower. All bedrooms and living room are provided with warm/cool air-conditioning. On the outside of the villa, you’ll be overwhelmed by the staggering views of the Mediterranean Sea and the hills that surround the town of Competa and characterise the Sierra de Almijara, in whose heart this villa is located. The large covered terrace welcomes a dining area, where you can enjoy lots of breakfasts with a view and meals cooked on barbeque provided. The oval-shaped private pool and the poolside sun loungers will provide comfortable moments of relaxation at the sound of nothing but singing birds. Stone is the predominant material, which integrates harmoniously with the colourful flowers and vines of the outdoor area. The property is not fenced. The access to the villa, which relies on a private parking space, is made possible by a paved lane, whose last 300 metres are characterised by slopes, since the villa is located on a hill. Llegamos antes de las 16:00, lo cual no fue un problema antes de nuestra llegada. Había una fiesta en el pueblo, así que sugirió encontrarnos en otro lugar que no fuera la oficina. Había un problema con el aire acondicionado; un mensaje fue suficiente para solucionarlo. Aquí, siguen cumpliendo con lo acordado, haciendo que sus vacaciones sean inolvidables. Piscina privada, maravillosa; la usamos mucho. La privacidad es tan buena que puedes andar desnudo si quieres. Hay lavavajillas, una buena nevera con un gran congelador, una placa de inducción para cocinar y una lavadora en la caseta de la piscina. Todo lo que puedas desear para relajarte. Algunos aspectos a destacar: el wifi es entre razonable y inexistente. El camino hasta el lugar es bastante empinado. Llevábamos un Fiat 500, que funcionaba perfectamente, así que parece peor de lo que es. No pudimos hacer funcionar el televisor. Llevamos películas de Netflix, así que no fue un problema. Es un asunto personal, pero las camas nos parecen duras. Habíamos leído sobre perros ladrando a lo lejos, pero no nos molestó. Además, muchas gracias de nuevo a Martina y a su equipo; nos ayudaron a tener unas vacaciones inolvidables. Maar oefening baart kunst. Ook zijn de foto’s in de advertentie met een groothoeklens genomen, waardoor het helaas een beetje tegenvalt als je aankomt qua grootte. Man kann sich völlig frei im Außenbereich bewegen, da die Terrasse und Poolbereich vor fremden Blicken geschützt ist. ;o) Bis auf das regelmäßige Hundegebelle am späteren Abend.... war die Finca wirklich sehr ruhig gelegen und somit sehr erholsam! Die Unterkunft war sauber und hübsch eingerichtet. Lediglich die Küchenausstattung (Besteck etc.) könnte mal wieder aufgebessert werden! Reklamationen wie defektes Poollicht und fehlende Internetverbindung wurden sofort gemeldet und kurzfristig behoben. Die Anfahrt zur Finca (von der Küste aus kommend) ist eine kleine Herausforderung, da eine sehr kurvenreiche und z.T. enge und steile Strecke. Man gewöhnt sich jedoch daran. ;o) Die Kommunikation mit den Mitarbeitern von Ruralidays verlief wirklich vorbildlich. Ganz toll!!! Wir werden sicherlich wieder kommen! ##### Nicole K. Cómpeta zelf ligt op 10 minuutjes met de auto en daar vind je alles wat je nodig hebt (supermarktjes, bakker, groenten/fruit, ...), de stranden van Torrox en Nerja liggen op een 40-tal minuutjes met de auto en zijn erg leuk! Absolut ruhig gelegen, nur durch das das Leuten der Glocken einer weit entfernten Ziegenherde untermalt. Die Räume auch Nachts angenehm kühl (Klimanlage vorhanden, aber nicht von Nöten) und gemütlich im regionaltypischen Stil eingerichtet. Das Equipment der Küche ließ keine Wünsche offen, die Schlafzimmer waren mit ausgesprochen guten Betten ausgestattet. Von der Terrasse mit dem tollen Pool genossen wir den wunderschönem Blick auf die Berge und das Meer. Nach Tagesausflügen u. a. Alhambra, Cordoba und Antequera freuten wir uns immer auf den Pool am Abend. Im kleinen beschaulichen Cómpeta bekommt man alles was man zum Leben braucht.(mehrere Supermärkte, Restaurants) Von hier aus hat man auch gute Wandermöglichkeiten in die umliegenden Berge.
