We have previously liked staying here with our dog. However we were disappointed to see “upgrades” that had paved over the grassy areas off of the first floor rooms. Access to the river is precarious with no safe path, so walking our dog has now become somewhat inconvenient. Not having a microwave in the room nor a freezer section in the room fridge was also inconvenient. Other than that, it is quiet, clean, and close to downtown.

This hotel deserves 5 stars for everything except the beds and pillows. Most uncomfortable I’ve experienced while traveling. The rest of the place is beautiful. Nice pool and hot tub open 24/7, beautiful grounds with walking trails and beautiful scenery sitting at the bottom of the bitterroot mountains. Stunning views! Great staff!
